12 is nothing if the 5000 really has only 12 one 60 and 70 well my little 🐩🐑 know that you upgraded and weast your cash in 2 years again 😂or 3 this not the 1000 ones that cost was low we pay now up to 1000 for a 60 one 😂 so be smart if nothing else go amd for long life
do you actually monitor how much VRAM your games use? 8 is kind of enough unless you want to run everything at ultra, or have a 4k monitor.

@@freedomdst i play ultrawide 3440x1440, 12GB is minimum for ultra with ray tracing. 8GB will crash the game.
I would say 12gb+ vram is very good enough for a long while, but 8gb is too low at 1440p+ Gaming.
Same goes with 16gb Ram at 1440p Gaming 32gb Ram is needed for a long while now :)
at 1080p 8gb vram is enough and 16gb ram for most titels :)
i agree with this, but most 8gb cards are not limited by 8gb in 1440p because they are limited by performance and not by vram. but cards like a rtx 2080 with 8gb really struggle in 1440p yeah
16 is the way to go ❤ 12 is ok as when the say 8 was ok now 8 is not ok so let's be honest here of you regret getting a 12 and now def it don't lie to others and say oh get a 12 it fine no it is not this is not the 1000 ser thag cost 500 for best of the best now days for a low end 4060 we pay about a 1000 euro 😂 so we want that to last more then 4 years my 1070 is old now but when I got it 8 was good and most games used only 3 up to 5 but now games release broke and the ask for 12 or 15 😂 so lady and gentlemen get 16 at most for gaming if y like to not upgrade every 2 gen or 1 😂 and least you'll cash for bad product 🎉
@@Oliver-sn4be i have 6700xt 12gb at 1440p gaming i have never seen my vram go past 8gb but, i wont ever buy a 8gb, but i had 16gb ram and saw that go to 15.5gb and needed to upgrade to 32gb tho 🙂

12gb. Next jump is at least 2 generation of whatever that is. 16gb > X > ?. Not counting the GPU that cost thousands.

1440p gaming is overated 1080p gaming is about same quality for better performance 8g all you need but 12g for if you wanna be fancy
You are high as a kite 1440p has 78% more pixels it is a night and day difference from 1080p

More v ram is horrible for the gamers, but awesome for game devs. We need to stop this "the more the better" trend. The reason why games ar so horribly optimized and made is because game developers have the logic of "Blame everything on the gpu, my game isn't trash, it's just that ur gpu and cpu is trash"
