Ignoring all of the content and expansions and sequences and loops and such, this is a great synth in it's own right. The other stuff is just basically Splice or Loopcloud embedded within the plugin. Don't neglect the ability of this to just create some unique and solid patches.
I did an extensive amount of research for my next vst, and this won out. What a great synth. I usually like to make my own sounds, but the preset packs for this thing are freaking amazing.
its like an oldschool keyboard workstation just in a plugin, i can see some people would use the instant hit settings, the same way people loved harware workstations for music production, at least pub bar duos can now play edm not just clapton tunes haha
Simple and to the point review-love it 👍 Avenger 2 became my go-to instrument and I do have around 116 of them Excellent and unbiased review, thank you Btw; on my M2 pro Mac mini the cpu usage on your opening patch hardly goes beyond 5% 😉
They're all royalty free... though unless you want to sound like another track that just used them straight, you probably should incorporate them as the basis for modified melodics that make them your own. It's like using loops from sample packs...except you can modify them to make them your own.

Avenger is a beast …. And the most slept on synth IMO ….
Ive looked at quite a few vps avenger 2 videos now and i really like this walkthrough. Nice one Tim. 👍

this is cardinal sin of edm right here
Ha! Deadmau5 was right! Great synth tho...
Got it recently , top notch sound!
Sounds good but fundamentally, it all comes down to the quality of the oscillators and filters and they sound pretty clean.
It still sounds like a Eurovision Cheese fest.
You say it like that’s a bad thing
15:02 well, the 13th gen top i7 is about 5½ x as fast as that. So on a recent computer this will run smoothly.
what's the point of plugins like this one if you run it inside daw? do I need a smaller daw inside a bigger daw?
dawception
Thank you✨cool synth👏👏👏👏👏
What about the licensing with all those pre played musical themes?

With a voice like that you HAVE to be in radio?
Purrfukt for Krum & Mace, Tarnce, Krill and Gimpwave.
Plugins like this tend to be too overwhelming. For me at least!
Start with Charlatan. There's a 3.0 beta on KVR
Love you Timmy!
Seems like just like Nexus 4 but less messy interface. a bit oldschool Kontakt'ish
Nexus is the rompler, Avenger is the workstation. Same company.
@@PendelSteven Two different companies, reFX and Vengeance, respectively. You might be thinking of Vanguard
Cheesy
cheesy = happy ) The synth does have a very extroverted vibe, bright and powerful but its easy to make grungy and dark experimental tones..
@@maxb4057 maybe I was a little harsh - suppose it’s a little like the wavestate in some way
@@mechanicom reminiscent yes but way ahead with features, effects and included library / samples
Best boomer EDM synth by far!
All the features in the world but sounds digital
He wasn't previewing the Synthtruments pack. Trust me you can create some seriously analog and realistic sounds in this thing.
