- Roccat Burst Pro Review. Mic Drop. Seriously, this is one of my favorite mice of ALL TIME. It's practically flawless. The shape and clicks feel premium in the hand. It comes with everything you would want out of a premium gaming mouse such as an ergonomic shape that is incredibly comfortable, translucent honeycomb shell which feels great in the hand, excellent build quality, titan optical switches, phantomflex paracord cable (burst pro paracord), heat-treated PTFE that provide some of the best slide I've tried, Roccat Owl Sensor, AIMO RGB lighting, and weighs 68 grams.

Most of Roccat's mice have cool, sleek, futuristic designs that look very “gamer” like with few “ultralight” options. I found most of them to weigh in at around 99 grams. But with the Burst Pro they changed the game and engineered it from scratch and made it into an “ultralight” mouse. They did this by slowly testing and perfecting individual aspects of previous mice to combine it into the “perfect” mouse. But will this new rendition be enough to change the focus off the Logitech’s and Razer’s of the world? Let’s find out.

I think you'll like it a lot more than your stock Dell mouse. lol
I think the rgb looks much better on the black version personally, on the white version it all looks too faded through the translucency of the shell. Great mouse, very happy with mine.

Love your reviews, seems like a honest power user and you are not afraid to add some personality to the mix.
Now i have a question, what would you recommend the Burst Pro or the Model O Wireless. I have no previous experience with any mouse similar to the Model O Wireless but the Roccat reminds me of one of my favorite mice of all time the Logitech G9x. But afraid the clicks will bother me(even tho it might not.)

No need to apologize for the Fence of text. I like specificity. Umm, I think the Roccat Burst Pro is a better mouse in almost every category over the Model O Wireless. If I had to chose one of them I'd go with the Burst Pro personally. Especially, if that is similar to the G9x I think you'd enjoy it a lot if you like the clicks. I'd recommend buying the Burst Pro from somewhere that has a good return policy and try it out. If you don't like the clicks return it and order the Model O Wireless.

Does the mouse keep the profiles after uninstalling the swarm software?
So, it has 5 on-board memory profiles. So, theoretically it should save those profiles after uninstalling as long as you have a button that can rotate between them. However, I've heard for some users that isn't working correctly.
Hrrmmm. This makes me sad i the fact that i bought the viper mini... this one has better sensor for only 10$ more. Finally another optical mouse. Tho i Got my mini for 50% off on Black friday...
The few times i tried roccats gaming things they have Been disappointing. Their “premium” stuff for their... Extreme Price was crazy. Always felt cheap! Tho their new stuff seems crazy. This mouse, and their new fastest.(4000hz i Think) keyboard. Seems cool. THEIR DESIGN ARE JUST NOT GOOD😂
@@deerhguy1918 I still think the Viper Mini is a better mouse with the exception that this one has a better sensor. But I've heard if you like the XM1 that this is a good competitor. Seems like the QA on this mouse is better too.
I also agree that I'm not the biggest fan of their stuff as it looks super gamery. I didn't know they had a 4000 Hz keyboard. I know that Corsair also has a 4000 Hz keyboard (the K100) which I've been trying out and will have a review up here soon. I like it a lot. But holy batmans is it expensive.
The nice thing that I like about a lot of companies is they seem to be redoing their brands and making better and better stuff recently which benefits us consumers a lot. I'm excited to see what Finalmouse releases tomorrow. Because I've heard good things.

My Top Three:
1. Razer Viper Ultimate
2. The G Pro X Superlight/GPW
3. Model O Wireless.
Wired Only:
In no particular order. The Roccat Burst Pro, Glorious Model O-, and Finalmouse Ultralight 2. Not that I recommend buying the Finalmouse Ultralight 2. As it's way too overpriced even at stock prices. I also really like the Viper and Viper Mini.

I'd recommend giving G-wolves a shot. They have some good mice that get lost in the shadows of razor & logitech. Also hk gaming released a clone of the ultralight 2 not too long ago.
@@iJansport Yeah, I need to check out both of them. As I've heard good things about both brands. But the issue I've been having lately is that I have a hard time buying anything with the 3360 sensor. As it has been out of date for a long time. Don't get me wrong it's a good sensor. Just not compared to modern age sensors. So, I'm happy to see the 3389 and 3370 becoming more popular. So, I may hold off until they upgrade to that sensor if they don't already have it. Previously, when I was looking at them I thought they came with the 3360 but I'll have a look again.

This VS Razor Basilisk or Lancehead, I need a white mouse.
My personal choice would be the Burst Pro by some margin as I think it does everything better over those other two. Except maybe shape for the Basilisk and it not being wireless. Then I'd go with the Basilisk over the Lancehead.
But the perfect mouse for me is going to be different for you. So, you need to go with whichever one checks the most boxes. Such as what shape, size, weight do you want. Also, how many buttons? Wired or Wireless. etc.. So, this is going to sound like a stupid question. But what are you going to be using this mouse for? So, for example the reason why I prefer lighter mouse is mostly because I play FPS and also do a lot of photoshop work (for my thumbnails) and having a lightweight mouse makes it easier for me to be precise. I also don't need to many buttons. Whereas, if I played a lot of MOBA games or WOW or something having more buttons on my mouse may be beneficial.
@@ThomasMuehler let’s see 😅 I’ve used the M65, I didn’t really like the shape, the Dark Core was okay but died in a few months, I enjoyed the wireless mamba but it was a little small, the G305 was way too small, and I’m currently using the AW310M which is kinda like the 305 in performance but bigger it’s actually not a bad mouse other then the way they did the skates at an angle makes the mouse drag.
I was leaning towards the burst but I wasn’t sure if it was going to be too small, I like to go between a palm and claw grip myself.
@@therevanchist1123 Have you checked out the Razer Viper Ultimate? I know it's an expensive mouse but it comes in Mercury White? Has top of the line specs. Also, is built for claw/fingertip grip. It's also a medium sized mouse. So, it hits all of your boxes.
