Yeah…I think the “confusion” (I’m being polite) comes in because they do, often, use a backing track - any performer who does such intense choreo needs a backing track as there are times when the vocals need to be filled in a little because the performers literally cannot sing due to intense dancing - like when Jimin does the twirly bit and the dolphin-dive thingy during Serendipity (i don’t know what the moves are called, sorry - but everyone will know what I mean, I think 😂). It’s impossible to sing while doing those kinds of moves, and he doesn’t try to pretend that he is singing then - and you can clearly hear when he starts again - BTS never try to hide it when they have a backing track. They do use auto tune sometimes, but I think it’s more as a stylistic choice than a necessity as I have heard them sing a Capella (Jungkook, for example, sings a lot, just randomly, and his pitch is beautiful) and all four vocalists really do have beautiful singing voices…The rappers are possibly less reliably melodically in tune, but all three can also sing - especially Hobi, his singing voice is lovely. I think that the slightly robotic tone from auto tune is something that their producers like at times - I’m not really knowledgable about music AT ALL, so I could be very wrong, but I have heard all of them sing and/or rap without any effects on the mic and they have amazing voices, all of them 🤷♂️🙏 The thing is, if you take just one of each members’ talents and examine it, it’s awesome, but all of them have more than one talent - Yoongi raps, dances, writes music, writes lyrics, produces, plays piano, and even sings, Jungkook sings, raps, writes music, writes lyrics, dances, produces - and with JK, he also does martial arts, paints, plays a few instruments etc, so each one works really really hard to bring everything they do up to the level of excellence that they display onstage, and that makes them targets. Most of us don’t have the work ethic to develop one talent to this level, never mind as many talents as these dudes have. On top of that, they are all very handsome, and they are all really kind, sweet, bright, and funny men, who are polite, humble, and a little bit naughty - so as Army, we love them and support them, we know what they have been through - and there are people who just love to tear down others who are succeeding… Bottom line, as Joon says, haters gonna hate 🤷♂️😂 💜💜
The people that say that have absolutely no knowledge what so ever in stage mics and singing, usually being a singer myself it's some fools that has no talent at all that are trying to do what you do but they will never be able JEALOUSY that's the proper term, these guys are skilled they have trained since they are young and they have talent like no others. Just the skills that they have it takes a lifetime to achieve the level that they are at. I'm 53 years old I sing big stage in my country I have University level I teach vocals I play bass guitar and all that since I'm 5 years old, my first show there were 2000 thousands people in front of me I was 5 years old so I have a bunch to say about stage live shows lipsync and mic 🎤 BTS is the real deal period, the first who critics are unskilled wanna be but will never be cause on top they are not sympathic, when you don't have it and want to make it at least be nice haha
