One of the best looking performance-builds so far in my eyes. And your comment about the worm and the simplification about using the steering to pull the rig up let me laugh till my stomac hurts. So good!
We know exactly what you mean 💯 When you can lay the sidewall down against a rock to get a grip. The better the angle the more you can use it. Just last week on a climb my left front tire had to be turned all the way so it could grip the rock to move forward but then quickly had to turn the opposite way to get up & off it’s belly. You can also see why servo strength is so important once you start really pushing the performance of a rig. 👍
That new rock you gents cleared is looking sick AF bro! This has to be the most capable tiny truck on here yet. Kudos to the builder and the driver🤙🏻🤘🏻
I really like it. She gave it an 8.5, I'd give it a 10. If I got it as is I wouldn't mess with anything. I like it's look, style and performance base. I haven't got to the test part of video yet. This is my favorite UA-cam 'series'. I love roastin rigs!
I needed this video, long week, thanks to you and the lad who sent this excellent performer in. No critique from me this time, though it was surprising when she gave it such a high number, never know what she'll rate a rig, seen her rate really good looking rigs not so high.
@@24Yepp wow. I'm slow. I went to comment after the video and never did. This rig was definitely well thought out. I'm glad you got this one in. Like you said, it's nothing over the top, nicely put together and just does work. Props to the builder and to you for showcasing the quality of these rigs. Having a capable rig is one thing. Knowing how to use it is another.
I got to agree I think that's been the best performer so far that is really ran that pancake very good just the way it sounded didn't sound like it was fogging up a bunch
Nice roast once again the interesting thing is there are good things & bad things about the wheel base & how it effects it’s performance the short wheelbase doesn’t allow the front tires to get up & get on top of the ledges it just keeps flipping over but a longer wheelbase would be a lot better at getting the front over the top allowing it to pull itself up. But we all know this already but it’s interesting to see it actually happen. 👍oh & Happy Labor Day hope ya gotta kick back & mess with the RC’s. 👍🫡
Really good running rig .I think that caterpillar approved to but I rekon it frightened the live out of it 🤭it will be a butterfly by now . On the subject that truck crept really well ....Harry
Another hard line killer. Guy knows what he's doing. SMP/D-Drive combo is buttery smooth. Those Akers Engineering motor mounts really help center those fat MOFO RC SMP/Medio/ROP motors nicely in a minimalist approach. I feel the machined MOFO mounts are overkill. I refer to using the wheels/servo strength/steering angle to climb as "army crawling". Very useful trick in near vertical situations where wheel speed isn't getting it done. I would like to see the angles of the rocks you're challenging these hard line rigs with. There are digital angle finders available that you can use to show your audience how steep these rocks truly are. Which is always hard to accurately depict in videos. I feel you could have made that one hard climb if you were using both hands while wheeling. I completely understand it's hard to get the perfect viewing angle unless you drive one-handed.
@24Yepp yeah, that's my problem. The mofo pancake is 12mm, and I don't see that option. Just 16mm , but I know one of them works bc I saw it at 3:34 . Lol
@24Yepp I think it's the p90/mini komodo akers lowpro mount. I run mofo motors and Idk much about furitek. Based off the shape of the mount in your video, I think I will order that one to try. That little mount is a simple, trick looking piece! I love it when I get excited about parts lol. I love this hobby and people in it! Good Day Sir 👍

Crazy how those big rocks just grow randomly in the middle of the woods. 💁♂️

I think it was just the tires 🤷🏼♂️

Sweet build! I need to build a line killer. Loving these rig roast!!
You ought to call a climb spot by the critters you find along the way. INCH WORM PASS is a thought. Peace!

That is a fantastic setup for sure. Some great crawling and it only got better as you got comfortable with it.

Definitely impressed I thought your wife nailed the 8.5 on looks and a I say a 9 on running fun to watch🤘✌️
The steering angle allows you to use the side lugs to help pull you over ledges. Good video dude!
It makes Predator clicking sounds out in the woods , just like the 80’s movie. Kinda freaky, lol
