To be honest with you guys you cannot compare the other three German luxury brands to Porsche, is in another level above.
They are great vehicles but every vehicle has competition 👍🏻
He doesnt mean vehicle. Porsche as a BRAND, is on a different level. From the focus on engineering, balance, and more importantly, prestige. There is no 30k Porsche. But for 30k you can easily get a new bmw, audi, or mbz. Those brands have cheapened themselves down to compete with toyota, which, ironically, is way better than them at that entry price point. So for giving up significant brand prestige, bmw has gained nothing. Only strengthening the fact that toyota/honda make way better and reliable 30k price range cars

About 75% of Porches built (all time), are still running on the road, TODAY. The only other automaker that can even come close to this figure is Lexus. What about bmw, audi, mbz? Nope. No competition here. Not by a long long shot. Anyone looking to seriously challenge Porsche as a serious and focused automaker, must look outside of germany, because even germans agree that Porsche is miles above the lesser german brands.
You make a great point. Don’t forget Porsche is German and they make VW, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, etc. So when your say Germans 🤷♂️.

Bought my 2022 Cayenne Base from Porsche Clearwater four months ago. What a vehicle! Features, power, handling, and overall excellence. Only criticism is needs more handy storage niches for phone, sunglasses and miscellaneous.

Yeah. But that rival is definitely not german. Right off the bat, the brand image is not even close. Then, more importantly, reliability is worlds apart - bmw, audi, mbz are miles and miles behind Porsche in terms of build quality, reliability, service quality, balance, handling, engineering, and again, prestige (lol at 30k audi, bmw, and mbz that are everywhere nowadays). What did those lesser brands gain, after significantly cheapening their brand image? Nothing. Because Toyota, honda are unbeatable for that price.
