- A Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mk II (GSLV-F14) launched the INSAT-3DS meteorological satellite into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) from the Second Launch Pad (SLP) at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR (SDSC SHAR), Sriharikota, on 17 February 2024, at 12:05 UTC (17:35 IST). INSAT-3DS “is designed for enhanced meteorological observations and monitoring of land and ocean surfaces for weather forecasting and disaster warning”.

Well, side boosters that detach with the core stage don't seem very efficient...

Because they have to control the region where it drops, otherwise the fuselage will fall to Sri Lanka.
Its not bad this design was inspired from the Soviet Proton K rocket which used same configuration
@@rudolphreindeer7910 those of the Proton aren't boosters. They are propellant tanks, integral part of the first stage. The whole point in having boosters is to drop them as soon as possibile

Why is it that the working language of Indians is English, and their pronunciation is particularly strange and painful, so it's better to use their own Hindi.

India is diverse country every prefecture has their own language,not like us ..that's why they use common as English and if their pronounce is painful for you then don't listen to them no one forcing you ,I work with lots of Indian ,they are very kind ,good peoples by heart.
