While we extend a warm welcome to the Bishop, it's important to note that both the Catholic church and the Syrian Orthodox church presently are sister churches with almost no difference theologically - the difference that arose in 451 was due to semantic linguistic differences which were misunderstood at the time resulting in conflict (no surprise there - the evil one took something as small as language differences to divide)
This has beem agreed between heads of the churches dating back to St John Paul ii and His Holiness Ignatius yakub in the 1970s onwards

So ot is right to say the Catholics and the syriac orthodox (jacobites) have no muvh difference as stated by the pope

For the belief,there is no need of tradition, cast,creed etc, but world, especially Christian world believing and teaching, evolution theory in their schools, but our God and creation ,have correct identity and tradition, also about the end. So we have importance of middle East.
