This is more of a tutorial video kinda thing. Just want to put that out up front, It is filled with lots of awesome information for making screens for your home t shirt printing business. I will show you how to make printing screens & exposure unit SUPER CHEAP! It is great for your home t shirt business. There are only a few things that you will need to be able to build your own homemade printing screens and I go over everything in the video. How to make screen printing screens and an exposure unit super cheap is easier then you might think. If you have a few spare pieces of wood laying around then you can build the frame, even better if you have a spare flood light, then your off to the races laughing. A screen printing business is a great business to start from home or from a garage to make some extra money in your spare time.
A super cheap way to make screen printing screens & an exposure unit super cheap is to just reuse what ever materials you have lying around the house or the shop. If you need to you can even go out to the thrift stores OR if worst comes to worst then you can always go out and garbage pick or dumpster dive. There are alot more items of value then you may think.
A T-Shirt selling business or screen printing business is a great business to do from home because it really docent require a lot of space, and it gives you the freedom to choose your own hours and work volume. You could even run it out of your basement or garage, unfortunately I didn't have any of those options available to me so I had to rent a warehouse, but I am totally have with that, everything fell into place almost like it was meant to be, Have you ever had something like that happen to you?

Hi! Any tips on how to set up your screen on this unit? Or another video? Thanks!
I actually just hand press it right now. I am about to order a 4 screen press here shortly which I will make a video of when I do get it. But for a one color station you can get away with just hand pressing. just make a "jig" or stencil so you know where your design is going to sit on your shirt. usually about 4 fingers down from the collar is a good place to start for placement. Is there a certain light I need to work under like yellow bug light or black light? When I’m working with the emulsion
I would say an HPS, Flood light or some fluorescents would be the best bet but you "burn time" will vary depending on the strength of each light so you will have some trial and error at the beginning

You have to get your image on transparency paper to be able to burn your screen in to print
