  • Here's a great solo tone from TH-U and Choptones with the ADA MP-1 model. Bad note included for free, can u find it? Original Composition - Everyday Things. Run from Ableton including lights which run via Ableton to Lightkey.

The ADA is the real deal. The Choptones package is, worth every penny too. I finally bought one and a Sonic Maximizer. Unfortunately both are, sitting in the closet in a case. Once my basement is finished getting remodeled then I get to set it up. Awesome playing and tone btw! Dude which capture did you use? There are a ton of good captures there that didn't make it into the included presets.

Nice! That tone is Custom > 039 T100 clean with a tube screamer in front.

@@alwaysandy_ Thanks I will check it out once I get done with work for the day. I meant to mention too, not sure if you have an MP1 or not, but Nembrini has brought out a pretty awesome recreation of it. It's not 100% accurate to mine, but its pretty awesome sounding. If you want the ultimate in accuracy, there are some killer captures out there for NAM now that are 100% spot on. Like they sound, feel, and even have the same noise as the real deal.
THe Ozzrocks, Brian Buckles, and the Ideofunk captures are all absolutely amazing, and honestly why I unhooked my own MP1. It was taking up space i don't have in the office room I am using, and these were so good I couldn't see a reason to not put it away. Below is the link to the tonehut repo of the ADA stuff, just in case you haven't tried NAM (and would want to).

@@alwaysandy_ Same concept as RigPlayer is is (RigPlayer is using converted Kemper profiles i'm told). Only NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) is 100% free as are the 100k or so of captures on Tonehunt. The community is less than a year old and growing fast. The other thing about NAM is its night and day close to the original tone, and feel, where as the RigPlayer and Kemper are a bit compressed sounding and missing dynamics. Dont get me wrong I still use TH-U, but I really wish TH-U had a VST insert in it where I could use NAM as my amp. I use a pedal in instance, then NAM, then second TH-U instance for Speaker emulation and post effects. The sound though, cannot be rivaled by any pedalboard on the market! Good luck and happy tone hunting!
