Hey Saeed! "Incroyable" is the word you are looking for. I thank you for another incredibly fast turnaround and the way you feel yourself into the background story of the song. As I said, as a young boy born 11 years before WWII broke out, one can imagine what the situation was in the Benelux region. Add to that a stern and formal household and family and you have a hard time as a child or teenager to enjoy your childhood and/or adolescence. And then war happened, man, none of us can truly know what that was like in these days. Still, as you said, he turned it all around, decided to tell his life story giving no quarter in the process, not to "ces gens-la" and not to himself, neither when it comes to sincerity, nor when it comes to emotionality. Every time I watch his face, his expressions, it is just this guy who you meet in a bar and he tells you an honest and heart-breaking story. And it just hits you every time. Maybe next time we go for something a bit more fun.;) BTW, Stefan ist actually the German name, not the French Stephane. See you around next time. Take care.
Incroyable! Yes, i was combinging the two.
And yes, he is the guy that can tell any story and make it entertainer. Natural born storyteller.
Apologies about your name. In Dutch we also have Stefaan, but also some people that are called Stephan or Stephane. I wasnt sure how to pronounce yours.
Thanks again for this request!
@@SaeedReacts. Don't worry. It is not that I don't like the sound of Stephane or Stefaan, but I am still too German for that;)
Brel is a fantastic storyteller.
Really enjoying this journey 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Remarkable artist!
Thanks for this SaeedReacts! Love that you bring Jacques Brel to your viewers! Let’s hear more! I’d love to hear your interpretation of ‘Mon dernier repas!’
Thanks so much for watching ! A master of his craft.
That an interesting title! Will add it to my list.
@@SaeedReacts. There is also "Le Moribond", a song a certain Terry Jacks turned into an English version by the name of "Seasons in the sun". I know it from when I was young, but I learned lately that he got and still gets bad press for it.
This artistst and tĥis song brings me wonderful memories. I know Jacques Brel is belgian, because my father, that unfortunately, already passed, loved his voice and music. And had lot of vinyls of him. Thank you to take me to such a beautiful place of my memories. I have sons, that I love very much. But, my father was the love of my life. Kiss from Lisbon. Ana
A master storyteller!
Thanks for sharing that memory ❤️
Much love from Belgium!
It's the belgian Billy Joel ❤
