I have good friends who moved to US from England. They have a fabulous collection of basalt ware
All black not white appliqués, large pieces, busts and vases .Gorgeous!.
The green jasper pieces are my favorite! Great video. Thank you for sharing.
I LOVE Wedgwood!! My collection is always looking for new pieces!
Wow the broken pieces would make some beautiful mosaics. 😊😊😊
Thats a lot of Wedgewood!! There are people out there who would buy the broken and chipped pieces. I came across from the Crazy Lamp Lady. I'm loving your work and your shop.
Amazing collection! California
I started collecting Wedgwood when I was Lucas’s age. I stopped when I ran out of room. I do have a full set of Made in England ornaments.
Holy God, the navy muffineer. Woooooow.
Oooooooo...i LOVE Wedgwood!!!!!
It’s very pretty indeed 😊
I loved watching this unboxing of Wedgewood.....sad about the broken pieces, but they often can be re-purposed as pieces of art....also was thinking of them being used as stepping stones in gardens, & walkways, etc.... I'm a new follower from CLL's channel....
Amazing collection! So beautiful. I think crafters would buy the broken pieces for shard boxes, jewelry making, etc.
Those broken pieces can be glued, it's still beautiful 😊
Wow that's so beautiful just looking at it makes me wonder if the pitcher my mom had was one
Good job Lucas 👍some lovely wedgewood pieces there.
I’m SO impressed by Luke! He’s learned so much to share with the rest of us! You all work so hard for this fantastic gem of our community!! I’m from Xenia, and have always loved shopping ♥️of Ohio! It’s SO thrilling to know we have a nationally known, premium antique center to put our area on the map!! Thank you and your family,Daniel, for providing a quality, well organized shopping experience for antique lovers!!
We have basalt in this country, too. There’s lots of it in Oregon. Volcanic stone.
The mat finish on porcelain is called bisque
That small piece that looks like a spoon rest is just that, for teaspoons.
Wedgewood is absolutely gorgeous with all the different colors & shapes !!! So sad there was some pieces that was broken 💔 !!! I would love to own some blue 💙 pieces !!! Love the video !!! 🙂
Save the pieces they make great jewelry.
Wow! Beautiful Wedgwood!
Fantastic information-great job Luke! And it would be awesome to see a live feed of your auction!
Several beautiful pieces. I hope someone can professionally restore the broken items so they can still be enjoyed; they definitely don't need to be thrown away. Good luck on the auction next week.
Jocelyn from Crazy Lamp Lady sent me over. Just subscribed so I will be watching. Love the Wedgewood and you can tell dates by marks plus I think some patterns go for more than others. Thanks for the fun video. Wish I lived closer but I live in Atlanta Georgia so pretty far from yall. Have a great weekend!
There is a company in Houston that makes jewelry from broken pieces of China. Also a friend had an antique piece of Wedgwood restored in New Orleans.
I love Wedgewood, it's Gorgeous 😊😊
1500? thats almost for free, great score Gentleman. and thank you Lucas for reading the book. learned a few things here
Wonderful enjoyable video. Has Lucas watched the Wedgwood documentary on UA-cam yet?
I think you booked a winner this time. Even with the broken pieces . 💖💖
I hope you don't mind saying it (you probably do, but hey! ) but you and Jocelyn have a great chemistry! Thanks for both of you for all the great contents!!
Nice job Lucas! Thank you so much for sharing what you learned with us. I'm familiar with the brand but hadn't heard that it was also available in redware. Absolutely stunning collection! Love seeing your family all working together, great content, great video! 🦋
Love your unboxing....and wedgewood 😮
Beautiful Wedgewood 😊😊
Thanks so for the packaging info. I did not know that.
Good old Stoke on Trent potteries! The jasperware came in yellow and pink too - those are the colors to look for. The pink especially sells for bank. The dark blue is post-WWII if I remember properly, but..yeah well. In the 1970s they made a few pair of high-heeled shoes with jasperware heels. Needless to say not many survive. A lot of the Wedgwood has a date code on the bottom. The marks will be impressed.
❤️🙃
Thanks for the great lesson😉
Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Berkshire - the shire part of the word is pronounced 'shu' not shoo but shu like in the word shove. Staffordshu.
This piece is the most expensive. A shame it’s broken as it’s worth around 600 dollars (the small blue piece with the delegate lattice covering that looks a little like a teardrop.
I have Chuck and Di plates i don't want. They're blue.
Please give us a lesson in packing valuable and fragile items
Amazing collection! Learned some lessons on packing first hand. Darn it. Would love to see live feed of auction.
What are you doing with the broken wedgwood? I would like to buy a piece.
What will you be doing with the broken pieces?
What was the total the Wedgewood brought from the auction? Do/did you also sell the broken pieces?
Great yet sad lesson when packing.
