I wouldn't sell if I am the Seahawks. You have a lot of young talent that can improve, you have a young HC that can improve, you have a team friendly QB contract on the books, and so on
Agreed. But Mike Mac is just Staley 2.0. Zero authority in the locker room, dudes see through his autistic "genius," and clearly he can't coach up the talent that's there. This is the least disciplined the team has been in well over a decade. And that was supposed to be his calling card. I've seen enough to be over the hype. Flash in the pan in Balt, and that's it.

we need so much more to actually compete right now. i defend dk more then most but dk is a nice to have but we need need to haves like and actual oline or more then one linebacker
@@mikeBH1000 Agree. Been screaming for an Oline for over a decade. But DK changes defenses and open things up for other receivers. Few receivers can do that.
DK has completely underperformed! He absolutely disappears and dogs it during gms. He could be the best in the gm if he had the right mindset!
@@edkiely2712 Last week was prime example with the drops and him not getting his feet in on one TD to have Kittle go back and tap the toe for a TD on the other end.
@@stevejackmancreative Even when he isn't a distraction, his fumbles/drops have come at inopportune times and the team has to play a catchup game they never win. I think they can sell him high to the right team if this losing streak continues.
I live in Washington State and not a single Seahawks fan is complaining about DK. Tyler Lockett maybe but not DK. Also they're rebuilding and nobody in their right mind should have high expectations for them

I am a Seahawks fan in Arizona so I guess you might not hear my annoyance at DK's fumbles and dumb penalties. If Seattle can get a silly good trade for him, they should consider it. But it would have be something pretty insane.
My real worry for Seattle is that maybe Macdonald actually might not end up being a good hire.
I was complaining about him all offseason. He's admittedly lowered the reasons to complain by not actively sabotaging this team with his behavior any given week, but he's still costing this team games with his fumbles and drops. He is a guy that talent wise should be a top 5 receiver, isn't. If the right team offers the right compensation they should absolutely consider it. This team is only in year one of the MacDonald era and this team still has a lot of the fingerprints of the Pete Carroll era and he represents some of the problematic aspects of Carrolls tenure. I think if they keep losing they should definitely consider the potential to add multiple high end picks for a real rebuild.

All I hear is that we need to be patient and let mike build his team with his players and we can start by getting a pretty good haul for dk. I like the guy but we aren't going anywhere and we need way more then a receiver
the whole 8 likes ya mean? that guy can't catch! hes my biggest complaint on the team, penalty gathering undisciplined, ball dropping overrated.... big and fast and can only catch in the open field is bout all the is.. shoulda traded him for adams...locket is much better except for the fact he likes to go the ground as soon as a defender closes in on him. crappy defense and overthrowing everybody QB are problems as well..

Vikings should be buyers, but they have no 2nd, no 3rd, no 4th, no 6th, and no 7th round picks. (Compensatory picks likely in January).

So, it is honestly pretty damn brain-dead to act like a handful of mistakes on the offence is worse than the fact that their defence is almost entirely inept.
Burrow is a superb QB. Top 5 hands down, possibly top 3. But he's on the Bungles 🤷
Hot take - the Akers trade might end up being more significant than the Adams or Cooper trade at the season's end.

Akers has battled injuries. Toney does not have that excuse. There is no comparison here.

@robe2504 one, the Vikings aren't the Chiefs. Two, Akers is WAY more than a two trick pony. Toney is the product of right place, right time. He's not worth ANYTHING. I don't care what he did in the Super Bowl. Akers actually produces when he touches the ball.

They just moved it back to November. It used to be in October, I think, after week 7.

They haven’t moved it. It’s always been the Tuesday after week 8. Now they should be looking to move it, but for now it’s the same as always
@kenny8378 it was week 8 since 2012, but last year, after the owners' mtg, they moved it to week 9 this year. It used to be the Tuesday after the last game in October, but now it's after the last game in week 9, 1st Tuesday in November.

I think the trade deadline should go to 12 games. Especially when only 2 or 3 games separate the leaders from the bottom dwellers. You go 7 and 10 and you're picking in the top ten. You go 10 and 7 and you're picking in the 20's and probably in the playoffs.

With Mixon, Pierce and Ogunbuwale there, Akers was likely RB3 or RB4 and him or Dare heading to the PS with no guarantee of getting him there. Wasn't it just a logical move to get something for "nothing", avoid a minor cost?
It was a great move from the Vikes as well, a familiar player who is definitely a significant upgrade at RB3, if not an RB2a and 2b situation.

If you read the above I said they might not be able to get Dare or Akers to the Practice Squad.
If they did get there through waivers, both of them would be likely candidates for poaching off the PS.
In either case the Texans would get nothing.
The assumption is that they won't carry 4 RBs on the roster, especially when they have to find space for Nico etc when they come back.
And from the Vikes point of view, that is exactly what I'm advocating, by them upgrading at RB3.

Bengals could get a 2nd round pick for Tee Higgins, which could turn into a starter next season. How they don't at least consider selling a player they know they're not gonna pay and instead let him walk for nothing is kinda wild to me...
There aren’t many times where both teams win a trade but I think there is a clear opportunity for Seattle and KC to make a trade that benefits both teams.
I’m a Seahawks fan and I love Tyler Lockett, but it is clear that Seattle is trying to get younger and they are clearly making JSN the 2nd receiving option. Kansas City not only needs a wr, but they need one that runs great routes, is smart and has dependable hands. Lockett (not DK) is exactly what KC needs.
Send Seattle a 3rd round pick. Seattle gets younger, saves some cap money and KC gets what they need. Seattle isn’t winning this year, it’s time to get something for an again receiver while you can. And for KC, he is perfect and I would route for him to be the reason they win a title this year.

Brock is a HOF Hawks Hater. Way to go buddy. Keep throwing shade at the franchise. No question we 12s are frustrated and tired of seeing the same lackluster defense and flimsy offense, but pushing DK out the door is the last thing this team needs right now (even with his prima donna antics).
I am with Brock about the Bengals. You likely aren't going to beat the top AFC teams with that defence, so why not try to actually improve your team so you can in the future.

Rich, the loss to the giants isn’t a weird one for Seattle. The Seahawks played the Lions the week before. Chris Long has been talking about this all season, but every team that plays the Lions has a terrible showing the following week.
It’s wild but it’s been true for every team they’ve played so far, but the theory won’t get tested this week since the Cowboys are on bye lol

As a Seahawks fan, I'm not against the idea of them shopping DK if they can get a good bounty in return. I love DK but he does get too many penalties as well as inopportune fumbles. But it would have to be a pretty good bounty before pulling the trigger.
Myles Garrett should be asking for a ticket out of Cleveland. His career is going to be stuck on one of the worst teams in football for the next few years if he stays. Actually any reasonably good player in Cleveland should be demanding an exit.
I'm of the unpopular opinion they should take the cap hit with watsons cut, and start the rebuild with a fire sale. This team simply will not be able to compete with that guy, and its a disservice to all the players on the roster to play for an organization with that level of sunk cost fallacy.

I'd say Cross has elevated his game after a hard 2nd year but guys like Forscythe are uh..questionable players to put it kindly. If they keep losing its better to sell a problem in DK early then it is to sell him late or get nothing for him at all by contract end. The right offer comes in they should 100% consider it and not be attached. I'm worried Schneider will be too emotionally attached though.

Our line is trash especially our guards, our line backers are well non existent, defensive depth is terrible across the board, and sorry but Gino is good but we are going nowhere with him.
