One thing too is, if you feel your edge even begin to lose its sharpness, go over it lightly to bring it back. The more you dull it, the longer it takes to resharpen.
Hey Donnie B! Your CS Wild West started experiencing some loosening on the handguard, something about brass and wood over time. Did you experience anything like that with The Undertaker? Or did it keep for not having brass?
It's really not so much about the brass and the wood but how it is attached. Without any gluing the sottering to the brass snaps pretty easily. I simply took off the scales and JB welded the base of the guard guard and the scales. No more rattling. There is none with the Condor either
I got a new Undertaker from Joe Flowers today. When I opened it, I noticed a difference. First up, the blade was laser engraved with the Condor logo instead of stamped. (Like yours) The stock is now 4mm thick, not 5mm. The new Undertaker is 60 grams lighter than my original. The original one feels solid, the new one, I’m not sure about yet. Thanks for the review. If it had been out when I bought my Undertaker, about a year ago, I would've had the sense to get in contact with Condor over its obvious heat-treat issues and pretty bad quality control. I bought one from amazon 2 weeks ago first shot the blade rolled. I told condor they sent me another made me pay duties I got mad they said I can keep both. Lol now I have two!
Cool in all respects EXCEPT the 3/16ths is a BIT thin... I find that 1/4" is better and adds strength to the blade and power to the strike. Otherwise I want one! Condor may give CS a run for their money now that the Trailmaster/Recon Scout have sadly been discontinued.
The Swedge would be fairly easy to sharpen with nothing more than a belt sander. If you were trying to create an edge on it with a stone, bunker down, that'll take forever.
My brother in arms Donny B, i know you love you some big I'm knives and bowies but have you handled and tried out the Bark River jx5 vengeful 1 by chance?!?!? Just bought one and will never buy another Condor knife again! Good quality materials completely ruined by very poor quality workmanship. Ruff wanky grinds and handle scales that aren't even the same length and bodged with coloured epoxy to fill the gaps, plus a bent gard from them trying to hammer it on, and it still doesn't fit square with a nice gap.
I think the best option is just me designing more awesome customes to make up for CS losses! Haha
How hard would it be to sharpen the top edge?
The Swedge would be fairly easy to sharpen with nothing more than a belt sander. If you were trying to create an edge on it with a stone, bunker down, that'll take forever.
WooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooT!!! COOL! I AM GETTING THIS BABY!
It's so bad ass.
@@DonnieBAllDay Yeah man so bad ass.... Fuckin nice video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wish condor made this with a raw natural finish
I wouldn't complain about that.
Does this knife rust easily/fast?
It will only rust if you don't clean it after use. You can have this thing forever it you take care of it my brother.
My brother in arms Donny B, i know you love you some big I'm knives and bowies but have you handled and tried out the Bark River jx5 vengeful 1 by chance?!?!? I have a feeling it would quickly become your new favorite brother man, i highly highly recommend it and if you call DLT trading and send over proof of service we get a nice discount and i ended up getting mine for like under $250 shipped and being a thick ass junk of CPM 3V you would never need another knife and it is so far superior to alot of these Chinese blades and cheap bowies i see that are made to look good but not perform or hold up... The jx5 is something you're gonna be passing down after you're gone dude....
A have a BR on my watch list. It'll come eventually
@@DonnieBAllDay hell yeah, I own 3 now and I was waiting for that Jx5 which is damn near a sword lol it's not very practical to carry on your belt often but damn is it a bad sum bitch lol
I just got mine and the edge is far from shaving sharp. It's good enough but not razor sharp from the factory. I'd also wrap some hockey tape around the handle for the grip but the walnut is too beautiful
Ive heard a couple people say that and a couple more get one as sharp as mine came. I guess the tightness of their edges are inconsistent.
@@DonnieBAllDay looks like it yes. I still love it so far. I'll take it outside tomorrow
@@frankstarship6381 hack away!
Love condor ..u could be a salesman for them lol
This video is pretty much selling them and I get squat! Haha
give the Svord Von Tempsky bowie a review
Its on my list
Oh boy oh boy I get mine today!!!!! USPS don't fail me today!
Nice!
@@DonnieBAllDay Dude... USPS closes at 1pm..... I forgot.... Brutal........
@@LegionTacticoolCutlery They don't bring it to your door? Extra brutal.
Donnie B All Day I have packages sent to a PO box so things don't get stolen.

Rub in some saddle soap on the sheath. Thats what I do with new boots. Stuff em with newspapers and run in some saddle soap, Softens right up.
I was planning on just asking it nicely, but your idea is better.
@@DonnieBAllDay Lmfao
I just got mine the tip was wonkey but great blade
Its ok because chicks lie when they say all they need is the tip
How long does it take the sheath to stretch out? I just got mine.
Depends how big you are... oh! The sheath? It'll stay snug, but it gets easier pretty quick.
@@DonnieBAllDay I absolutely love this knife. Mine didn't come shave sharp but I put a nice edge on it. By the way I love your videos! Your energy is amazing! Keep up the good work!
I'm actually thinking about having a kydex sheath made for it. And modify it to carry it upside down on my back like Crocodile Dundee. Better for concealed carry.
@@kbomb1991 concealed carry options are great, but I couldn't not use leather on this thing.
@@DonnieBAllDay I wouldn't mind the leather sheath if the entrance for the knife was a little bigger. I like a fast draw. You know. Just in case.
Since I have no choice but to wait for my Undertaker, I'll do the next best thing..."again"! Watch yours, Scabs and Cowboys video on "my" knife... :)
Haha! Good call
Hey DBAD! You get that CS bowie????
No. What a butt slam too. I ordered 4 CS knives. I got a message saying that my package was here today. It was 3 of the 4. Guess witch one isn't ready for shipping yet.. Haha! Damn them!

My knife, is the cudeman bowie 106m is perfect...l from spain, kind regards.
Great knife
Condor is good stuff
No doubt.
Is the swedge sharpened?
no
If you want a badass piece with a sharpened swedge, look at my dbad Mission III
@@DonnieBAllDay Thank you! I'll check it out
Well crap now I gotta get one
I hear that a lot. Haha!
I mean I can see why 😂
I'm thinking about getting that or a bearded axe
This is a great Bowie
Db...if the edge digs into ur nail..and scrapes nail..it will shave hair..save ur arm hair..its true.
I'll grow more. Haha
You done the outback bowie yet?
By Condor?

$119 on Amazon. Dang.

Yup. Some people just do 'em right. I prefer a flat, but it's a banger

Coffin Handle!
Isn't that what I said or did I Jack it up?
The handle shape is called coffin and not tombstone. I'm making the comment because you've been consistently calling it tombstone in your other videos too.
Hahaha!!! I know it's a coffin. I also know that my retarded ass jumbles my words all the time so I totally believe you. Thanks.
Can someone make me a sheath for this knife by a chance?
There are a ton of makers. Best bet is to search on FB using the word leather. Making a kydex isn't that hard either.
I bought me one Bro
Tight sheath, GREAT blade!
Oil the leather
I've been told. Just crazy tight when new.
Hi my Brother I’m going to make a custom leather sheath for mine, I am not a fan of the sheath that comes with the knife 🔪 it is way to tight for the fat belly of this blade 👍🏻🇦🇺
I wasn't lying about them sheaths!! haha! With a little oil and time, they do loosen up.
I just got one too please post a video as I’m thinking of doing the same thing I’ve made a baldric carry for it from leather.
#FromFieldToFork 93 yeah they are as tight as a Nuns nasty 👍🏻🇦🇺
I just work mine through use. Oiling the blade after use helps the leather too
Mines just starting to wear in. But it cannot be deployed one hand fast quick draw like it should be for intended bear or cat protection
Jealous!
Jealousy is easily erased with purchase. Haha!

Greatest. Of. All. Teams.
In short don't waist your money!
Fit and finish is hit or miss, but I've never seen one that bad
Why are you just throwing plastic around how about pick up all the pieces and throw it in the trash can, keep earth amazing
