I have a Coober Pedy in green, a little more pinched than the one you show but that's probably my own handling. Its slowly getting more "worn" in its look.
If you like the Cattleman just get a Snowy River and train it into shape. Same crown, better lining, and doesn't have the ugly edging nor speed holes for the sun to burn your scalp through. I do suggest getting a strap with it, downside of the Akubra straps is they put all the strain on a single stitch, and the plastic clips that you can use to remove the strap when not in use are made of plastic so will perish in heat and sun over time. Make your own with magnets and a bar assembly so it puts the strain on multiple stitches not just one. Also saves you fifty bucks for a piece of string!
I love both these hats one for work and one for dinner If I measured my head and get 60.5 cm will I get the 61 or will I have to go to the 62 to allow for 1 size shrink thanks
Bush Trash I bought the cattlemen, but didn't like the shape as much. But since then I've actually reshaped it to look more like a cowboy hat where the sides flare upward, but the front and back still maintain their downward shape. Did it by using steam from a pot.
Thank you for your presentation, I wear hats regularly all year round, I do not know this brand well, but given the excellence of this quality I think I will let myself go !! do you deliver in France. Thank you
I believe this colour is santone, which is one of Akubra’s fawn colours. The bran colour as mentioned by the other reply is actually a lighter, creamier colour.
Love the Coober Pedy. So versatile, whilst providing great coverage against the unforgiving Aussie weather.
I have a santone fawn Cattleman, but sometimes i like the small brim, so i wear my Akubra Banjo Paterson.
I have the cattlemen, wish you wore that one too. I reshaped the cattlemen a bit to have a more western look, with flared sides. Looks pretty good.

Try the size up , should be fine. Buy fillers to make small if you need.
Gonna get both, pedy for show and cattleman for everyday use
Why didn’t you put the cattleman on your head for us to compare? ….anyway I love them both
Im in Arizona I'm getting one of these, lots of cow boy hats, but i don't want to look like a cow boy, as in wearing a traditional cowboy hat.

I live in South Carolina. I’ve found bushwear much more practical than western wear. Do you wear elastic side boots too?

@@Takayama-sama The colour in the videos is different than how they look in real life. On their website the colour is more accurate.
