I didn't know much about Jakks sonic figures and I was curious to see if they ever made a werehog figure, didn't find anything earlier and was disappointed but after seeing this I am extremely excited. What a coincidence!
For the next wave of figures I hope we get Gadget from Sonic Forces, a corrected colored Super Shadow, a re-release of Amy Rose, and maybe an Egg-Pawn from Sonic Colors. As for 2.5 inch figures, I hope they give us Orbot and Cubot.
Since characters like Chaos, Mephiles, and Mecha Sonic from Sonic 2 got turned into figures, I am now expecting that literally anyone is possible now, not just special transformations exclusive to one game. Like genuinely someone like Eggman Nega or as silly as it sounds, the entire E-Series from Sonic Adventure is potentially plausible Even if they're not particularly great articulative wise or come with great or appropriate accessories (Still annoyed Froggy or Cheese didn't come with the Big and Cream figures respectively) compared to previous toylines from other companies like Jazzwares, Toy Island, or ReSaurus, it's really cool that Jakks has been giving us a lot of obscurer characters that we could only ever dream of before.

I am buying this the second I see it. No idea how I'm going to display the Werehog, but I'm so excited to get that form. Guess I don't need to worry about getting the single release of SOAP Shoes Sonic. It would have been kind of cool if Super Sonic had the SOAP Shoes as well and maybe had Shadow's head repainted in yellow to recreate his look from the Adventure games, but I guess getting an extra Super Sonic doesn't hurt. Maybe I can try making a Dark Sonic custom from him or something. This is easily the first time I've felt this excited about a Jakks 3-pack. It's about time they upped their game with these. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come with 3-packs. They really need to make a proper Super 3-pack and Chaotix 3-pack like the ones Jazwares did. Maybe even a Babylon Rogues 3-pack. I'm getting way ahead of myself, but this is just so exciting.
I doubt it would sell well but I hope we get a 3 pack of the missing Hard Boiled Heavies members to finish of the set. That or a pack similar to the Tomy Forces one focusing on the villains. Maybe do like Zavok, Infinite and Chaos/Shadow.
As cool as it is to see another super sonic I would have LOVED to see a hyper sonic but I don’t think they could really even do that since it’s “not canon”
