I truly believe that the man was totally TURNED OVER shortly before he died. But, but Bob Ross was a Plagiarist when it comes to painting he completely copied Bill Alexander technique and I have NEVER purchased a BR piece of equipment since

Jason! I have been painting for about 3 years. Back then, I did not know of Bill and I a never able to find full length Bob Ross videos online. So I watched your set on wet lessons. I have been selling paintings for about 2.5 years now. Would love to paint with you someday, but you are accrossed the pond in the UK and me in the USA. But thanks for your videos also!

Did he ever do a version of this candle in a different color scheme than red?
Interestingly, we found, buried in our archives, about 150 color transparencies of some of Bill's paintings - many done in the 1960's and 1970's. There were at least two dozen paintings similar to this one, but with much more detail. It was clear Bill was experimenting with painting light and shadow. You can see his technique develop from one painting to the next. They were all done with the red color scheme. I wish we could post photos in the comments so I could show you some of them. We are still working on them. We'll post them on our website when we have them all scanned and categorized (alexanderart.com).

Found this guy after reading Bob Ross biography. I wish he and Ross could have lived forever, so that we can continue to see them today. Lovely, wonderful, inspiring people. Hopefully they are painting in heaven; the colours there are magnificent.

Awesome, what I love most about Bill Alexander is the fact that even though he does a lot of landscape paintings, he does still lifes as well and flowers.

Did the painting in acrylics cause im out of white n yellow in oil. . came out great!!!
Bill only painted in oils. And yes, he warned against mixing yellow and blue to create green. He shows how to avoid that problem in one of his other videos.
