  • First preparations to lift my friends 26.000 lbs Steel Sailboat on a trailer. We set 4 massive power poles in the ground so prevent the boat from falling to the side when we start lifting it up. The idea is to go with bottle jacks under the keel and start pumping the boat up, a few inches at a time. We're going to use 2 heavy I-Beams to rest the boat on as we go higher. We need to get the keel about 3 feet off the ground to clear the trailer. Hopefully it will go as planned. Please keep checking in for the next video when the actual lifting begins. Thank you for watching.
