Life may be tough at times, but to struggle is the literal meaning of Islam. The struggles you face in this life will surely pave the path towards a better hereafter. My prayers to you sister, and for us all.
Suffering comes from injustice. Whilst life has many struggles rewarding injustice goes against the very tenets of Islam. The Islamic world must do more for the innocents in the middle east.
I have been following your videos for a year now and I am really glad for you sister Aisha. Congrats for becoming a Muslim and for finding your way. It is amazing for me when I think that 99.9% of people are born in a religion and stay their whole life in it, then a small minority is chosen by god to convert to the right way ! And I meet people like you and i see one of those chosen people ! Not only did you choose to be a Muslim, but actually god chose you to become one! Welcome to Islam sis. Just remember that god will test our faith along the way, and I hope you pass all the tests. Thanks for sharing these videos and for the being active here on youtube, you are an inspiration.

It’s actually a misconception that it’s hotter in longer clothes. It just depends on the material that you are wearing, if you feel very warm you probably wear a lot of synthetic materials. Try wearing cotton, viscose or linen.
There’s actually research that the covert Bedouin clothing that they wear in the desert keeps you a lot cooler that for example short clothing because your body is in the shade and can regulate it’s temperature a lot better. Also decreases the chances of getting skin cancer or dehydrating.
@TheCollectiveConsciousness14 no you actually don’t need a lot of skin exposure to have enough vitamin D, you get it even sitting in the shade or wearing light fabrics like linen or cotton.
And most people in the northern hemisphere are vitamin d deficient not because of the clothing, but because there’s just not a lot of sun.

Its great to see you and your daughter out and about and being an inspiration to us new Muslims. I love that you cover your daughter hair even at such a young age so she gets used to the hijab and will always feel a love for it and be inspired by the example you set for her. I wish I had started to cover my daughters hair at a young age as now she is 7 wearing the hijab is while not obligatory yet is highly encouraged. As a new revert my kids did not grow up as babies with Islam in their lives and are just starting their journey to it. It is wonderful that your daughter will be raised from birth with the teachings and inspirations of Islam.

I've been living in London for the last 16 months. I spent over 30 years in Bangladesh, a majority Muslim country. In my experience, the difficulty in living a life as Muslim totally depends on the level of Imaan. You can argue but I'd say every place has different pros and cons.

Only when you go out among na-mahram you are supposed to cover as commanded by Allah(SWT).
