This is ridiculous. I’m infuriated that I had to miss this show as I arrived late to the prelims and missed the first three bands. Coming from Saluda we can only dream of being this large and talented with so many different props and colors in the show. Maybe someday… but for now it is amazing to watch what others can accomplish. Astounding performance as usual from Byrnes.
Lol this show is badass. I liked 2023 better, but this was great. I really don’t think Wando would have beaten them at GN if they had gone in 2022. It’s shocking Byrnes didn’t take a caption here at state
I 100% believe this 2022 show was more entertaining. But that's not always true. For example, Cabinet of Curiosities was my favorite marching show of 2021 (not counting Hebron because...well, Hebron). I think the 2022 state comp just hit different. The scoring was just so...I'll say questionable. I'm not even saying Byrnes should've won state (musically, Wando is just so strong). But it definitely shouldn't have been a sweep and a 2+ point difference (my opinion of course).
Byrnes did amazing should have beat Wando in my opinion..but the judges make the calls...this is come from a baritone at Fort Dorchester. Absolutely amazing show!
I loved Clover’s show this year. Aside from the questionable scores between 1st and 2nd, I think Clover should’ve been 3rd. But “it’s subjective” and all the other things we say when it doesn’t make sense 😊

As someone from Wando, I have to admit, while our shows are a lot cleaner, Byrnes is more entertaining

@@bkparham36 I just started marching in 2022, so I wasn’t there for Cabinet of Curiosities, I’ve seen the show on UA-cam and it looked pretty good
@@yipster2352 It should’ve been a Grand Nationals finalist
can’t wait for the director to be ours next year 🙏
No doubt. Only great things in store
Byrnes did amazing!
from a bass clarinet at Hillcrest :D
Hillcrest did the Pulse show, right? That was a fun show as well!

You are right about the judges.
I love brynes

I enjoyed Woodruff this year. I remember the preview night and the tournament at Byrnes. Fun show!
This is really cool!
That’s probably the most red I’ve seen in a marching band show. This is coming from a Clover euphonium. Btw I saw this at C. Phillips and I loved it

Watch Vandergrifts 2021 show it’s packed with red too
@@brianposton2277 Vandy is always soooo freaking good
cool show!

I was glad to see FM again. They make the competitions better.
music was clean, feet weren’t
That's fair. It definitely makes a difference.
