I loved this show! I was so glad they won!! Certainly deserved it!

I have to say that literally everytime I attended a state final Byrnes won first in 1994 then 1996 and also 2008. So when I planned on attending this competition I jokingly said Byrnes is going to win I'm there good luck charm. Who knew

Lol this show is badass. I liked 2023 better, but this was great. I really don’t think Wando would have beaten them at GN if they had gone in 2022. It’s shocking Byrnes didn’t take a caption here at state

Thank you for posting this. I saw them live at WCU and I felt like I was watching a Broadway show. Hard to believe that was a high school band. They deserved first place. I knew they would win about halfway in. Well deserved and that Scarlett was a beautiful woman. She should be an actress! He was talented also. Well they all are!!! Thank you again for sharing!!

As someone from Wando, I have to admit, while our shows are a lot cleaner, Byrnes is more entertaining

Byrnes did amazing should have beat Wando in my opinion..but the judges make the calls...this is come from a baritone at Fort Dorchester. Absolutely amazing show!

This is ridiculous. I’m infuriated that I had to miss this show as I arrived late to the prelims and missed the first three bands. Coming from Saluda we can only dream of being this large and talented with so many different props and colors in the show. Maybe someday… but for now it is amazing to watch what others can accomplish. Astounding performance as usual from Byrnes.
