WoL being Paladin for this expansion is the biggest callback to FFIV. Remember that Cecil starts out as Dark Knight and then becomes Paladin later. So it kind matches the transition from Shadowbringers to Endwalker.
I have FFXIV on the PS5 (currently the backwards-compatable PS4 version), and the load times they showed for the PS5 are fairly accurate. If I were traveling from Shirogane to a place like Central Shroud, it would normally take around 10 seconds to load in on the PS4 (give or take on how many players are present in the zone.) But on the PS5, it took roughly 3 or 4 seconds to load.
True story, load times are already faster on PS5 without being optimized for full use of its SSD and I/O. Looking forward to seeing what else they can do with the new hardware

The only thing I worried is meeting level requirement, not feeling weaker... talking about gaining exp getting reduced, going to take times gaining a level requirement on certain side quests completion and certain duties, that is also includes when wanting hunting monster's bounties. Just saying.

They could have put alternative damage scaling on the bosses rather than directly on the abilities. It’s more like, if it’s a dps phrase, your damage will be multiplied based on the boss vulnerable and unable to attack you. Normally, all damage should be reduce by 50% due to the resistance that they have as the leveling scaling higher than your own. It’s similar to think if you are a tank full health, then suddenly being hit by multiple attacks, you will become weaker rather than just one punch and dead. Tank buster is actually a bad mechanic if you think of how easily when 3 monsters with the same base damage attack you at once. Part that it’s making mobs in between phrases either too easy to kill or harder to kill because they are scaled by the boss %HP and the same resistances. The way this new scaling system might affect BLU if they can run level contents like a regular job. Although, BLU has a different potency scaling for their skills, but to run a content like Bozja. It might need a comparison to know whether it’s good or not.

Considering the "Sam Rami" thing in the past and that Sage came out of freakin' no where - it WASSSSS...one of my out of the ballpark predictions for a FUTURE healer, but I was sure we were getting Chemist first... - I wouldn't put anything past them. Sage I know from the mobile Final Fantasy Dimensions on my phone (it's the counter to Magus); both are basically more advanced Red Mages (without Dualcast) where Sage has higher WHM caps and Magus higher BLM caps, using the old FF system of spell ranks (e.g. RDM can learn up to level 4 White and level 4 Black magic, whereas Sage/Magus learn up to level 7 White/Black and level 5 Black/White, respectively. ...I never would have thought we'd be getting Elly's Gear from Xenogears as the weapon for it (I was thinking something more...I dunno, sagely and less magitech, but...), and I thought it'd be more something to tap for 5th/6th healer a few years/expansions from now. Every single AST that prefers Noct Stance will become a Sage main. I have stood by AST since the day it was released. I adore anything to do with fate and space, so it was perfect. But after time magic was stripped from them, the cards were made abhorrently worse, now the versatility is being stripped, AST is not even a shadow of what made it special and amazing. Now it’s just a pale copy. enough is enough. I’m done with AST, Fuck square for destroying it
