1:12 there are a few things that i had to watch 10 times to get. Some missed steps for example changing the color of the circle at this timestamp requires double clicking on the shape in the layers panel which wasnt explained or obvious and i had to work it out via trial and error. trying right click, left click etc.. but i got there so thanks for this tutorial!!
yeah , this was an old tutorial when i didnt do all the details like nowadays i do. check the newest tutorials, and see if they are clear
I usally do it with a clipping mask, first duplicate the circle & Then put image above circle and clip mask? Usually works the same
There are always many ways to do things in photoshop. Clipping mask is greatt

I followed this carefully, however when I upload my photo to Instagram the quality is lowered. It becomes blurry and stained. It looks crisp when I preview it but when I click 'Done' it looks bad. How do I fix this?
That's weird. It never happened to me. Send me your photo that u did to my instagram page and ill check it later on
A la hora de exportar exponerte en jpg desde Photoshop y cambie las dimensiones en escalar, le dará mejor calidad y al subirla a instagram aunque le baje la resolución aun mantendrá muy buena calidad.. Lo he hecho para facebook y me ha funcionado
