Not a Uni-cycle operator yet. But objectively I've noticed through watching multple reviews of different current machines. That what is needed is a set of protective gloves that also enable the left & right indicators when there is a rapid change of direction or a radical turn. So basically, we don't piss the average motorist or pedestrian off. Sensors built into the forefinger and thumb on each glove and the operation an intergrated part of the App. I also want to see produced a helmet with above eye level micro twin screens with a connected 'rear' view camera... preferably 180°. Safety for not only me and you, but for the other paying road users as well. No one wants restrictions on the use of these rather incredible machines, so why not promote more safety at legal speeds and their convenience of use and cost saving more broadly?
I want ask you a couple of questions. How are the brakes compared to a high end scooter or even a car? What concerns me is the amount of time required to stop in case of sudden braking. Let's say the car in front of you stops suddenly, for example. Another question I have is related to the agility. Is it easier or harder to turn suddenly, compared to a scooter? Let's say for example that you need to avoid the impact against the car, how quickly you can dodge to avoid the collision? How do you compare this to a motorbike for example? I have only ridden motorbikes and rental scooters.
First things first. You should never be following a car so close that you are worried about braking on time. However, in general, a scooter braking is very different from that of an EUC. Scooters utilize disk brakes and at the squeeze of the brake lever, you can stop. With an EUC, it's all in how well you're able to lean backward or in the opposite direction of your forward motion. There are multiple ways of doing that. Some are extremely effective, and some are not. Agility on an euc is completely based on the riders' skills and time spent riding an EUC, but in general, the EUC is 1000 more times more maneuverable than a scooter or a motorcycle
I think if you participate in public traffic you should also follow traffic rules like the first few seconds into your video you cross double yellow lines to overtake the bus, that’s what causes accidents and why police might feel they need to fine to increase order, there is also the ride one guys in their Videos the big guy touches busses and cars while averting around the traffic. These are all bad examples how to behave in public traffic
Kite foiling takes serious skill never figured out how to kiteboard w/o foils even with lessons. E-FOILS are even cooler electric powered no need for wind and kite. Its easier to turn around or tack those kites when you arent riding at same time. Yes you wear a lifejacket and helmet if you are smart.
I believe most of the riding U stride does is solo, unless he is racing. Boston has a decently large PEV group with over 250+ members, large majority on EUCs.
If you put the wheel on a stand where the tire can still spin use a sanding block, tilt the wheel forward and sand down the edges. The tire will have a more round profile and will behave more like a street tire.
I could never get tired of the sound of the knobby tires on pavement.👍
Thanks for the tour of Boston.
You're welcome

I need to learn how to ride seated better. It's a key skill for long rides. Thanks for the Boston tour.
Great 👍 thanks for sharing.
Always like seeing Boston from other riders view and riding style. I love my EX30. Maybe I will run into you sometime!

Good idea. Thanks
