    Tik tok brought me here while I'm not even a tik tok person. I'm glad I decided to indulge on those tik tok videos till I got to be expose to this powerful and beautiful conversation 😍. I'm speechless in a sad and beautiful way at the same time. It has touched me deeply . It is clearly we are lost as abantu. We are living an unfulfilled lies and we are struggling in the dark. Jet is a beautiful unsuspected asset to the nation that needs to be protected. I'm honestly thankful and grateful to come across these two beautiful Bantu people. Azibuyele emasisweni. Bantu people have a very rich and beautiful culture and customs but ALL lost in the misery of modern civilization... MINA NGIYAZIBONGELA ... CAMAGU!!!

    I'm on journey mnt'omdala.
    One of self discovery.
    Tracing back my lineage and the Xhosa truth.
    The bones of my ancestors are shaking.
    The ground I trample on is trembling.
    Something has to give.
    For a while I've been hiding behind excuses.
    Leaning on my parents lack of knowledge leading to;
    Uninformed traditional practices and incorrect processes,
    Causing darkness to hang around for decades.
    Finally got to a level of maturity where this daunting journey seemed a challened I could not back down from.

Which means we go through our life without knowing who we really are, and we desperately cling to material things to define who we are!!

      This is not exempt to the Bantu. Man or rather the human being has been conditioned and continues to be conditioned. Weird. The mind does that. Great understanding of the topic. The human consciousness of man does not alter because we are doing nothing about the contents of the consciousness.

    Makhosi. Siyabonga. As for Black Tax, this is what happens when people appropriate others language expressions into our context. This term Black tax was adopted from African Americans use of the phrase. Consider how then Black history month and Kwaanza have been introduced in some of our local communities by people from the diaspora, when we have our own authentic indigenous practices to draw from. Makwande.

      There are so many African American concepts we've adopted lately and siyalahleka man....African American's are seeking, we cannot be adopting things from people who do not know themselves.

    Its beautiful how our language, arts and culture has all this knowledge coded in it. And the sadness of one, as an African, relying on English to keep up with the conversation. Eish. Thank you Abba and Mr Novuka for an awesome conversation.

    Uyazi ukthini? I love this podcast, and the conversations are enlightening, sometimes empowering, sometimes not, because I always come back to the question of how do we even start, as black African people, to redefine ourselves outside of the confines of the past?
