I bet you could figure out a quick attachment system for that mini x arm to be able to switch back and forth between buckets easily without having to pound pins in and out
Not sure if I really need one. So far my pins move easily no pounding necessary. The ones I have seen for my machine you still need to get off the machine to loosen a bolt to release and tighten it. I also heard that they degrade the digging power by changing the force on the bucket.
Nice work you get a lot done in a small shop. You mention same type of rod different brand plus different years ran differently. Well it is not your imagination. Different brands and even lots with brands will have slightly different levels of elements within specification which will cause it to run slightly different. I am a welding engineer, do a lot of developmental work we see this all the time.
Great content. I am planning on getting one of these machines soon. Any chance you would do a video or talk about making a muffler or adapting one to make the machine run quiet? I have seen mufflers like that for ATV's.
Thought about a larger quieter muffle but there isn't much room to work with. Also it may add to already to much heat in the engine compartment. Adding an external muffle could work but didn't want it in the way.
Keep the videos coming, I love it.
