From someone who works at a printer: Running the sheet through twice /can/ make a difference, but mostly on thicker sheets. It just tightens the seal, but you can get the same effect by using a higher temperature (which is the proper way). Also if you break the seal by cutting too close, running it through again can sometimes reseal it (if there's enough plastic left). Most useful to me, though, is that if the laminate is bent, running it through again can flatten it. Sometimes when I'm making too many things at once, I pull the laminate out at an angle accidentally and curve the plastic. I just heat it up again and be more careful to let it go through flat. So for most situations, running it through a second time is unnecessary, but it does have its uses. :) I almost always run through a second time with thicker paper.
You were the first planner i started watching and I've been watching your videos for years, probably almost a year after you started, and i just love your content, and your style. But I just cringed when you pulled up and crumpled those stickers, lol. Lol, I felt a little piece of my heart tear. I don't know, I may have blacked out a little too, lolol. Sticker love baby! You've come a long way kid, and you keep getting better, God Bless!
I think this is very good.. I do this kind of thing as well, I leave a bit more laminate on the side to pop in the planner so I do not punch my note space;.
This is too cool! Thanks for sharing with us! 💖 FYI: I just found a really neat app that is helping me become more disciplined in my prayer life...it zings my phone with reminders to pray, and gives you a short scripture or something to reflect on. It’s called Daily Prayer (the logo is the sun on an orange background). I think I could use a page like yours along with that app to help focus my prayers even more! (Sorry for the long post, but I’m pretty excited about all of this!) Many blessings being sent your way!
I'm so glad you leave those in. I just tried my first plan with me and I did not even post it because I kept pulling up stickers way more than I normally do. But I might edit it and post now. I loved the way it turned out.
Have you tried leaving a edge for the punching? So that you don’t have punch marks going into your actual page. I use the Erin Condren dashboard inserts and they have a lip (I know it’s a thicker material but the idea is the same)
Great idea!
What a great idea. I am going to do this for my planner this weekend ❤️
Love watching your videos! You keep it real. 😃

I love when you create new ideas on how to put The Happy Planner items to use

A laminated prayer list... genius! I am going to need a laminator now!
I love this idea! I have to admit I had some major sticker angst when you pulled off the pretty foiled one! Love your ideas!

Love this idea!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH, for showing us that we all make mistakes, and that's just fine, and we still come out with something quite beautiful. :-)
Very nice and pretty.
I love this! So thankful I already have a laminator! Yay I have a set of those pens! No need to buy anything! Thanks for sharing! 💖

You can use the extra laminate after you have put it through the machine and make dashboards out of them
Where you get your paper cutter..?

I personally like mine to punch into the actual paper, I think it gives it more stability
Love the laminated pages. What wet erase marker is it that you are using? Thanks.
I love this idea!
