Another thing is that our country has to engage with the researchers and take that sector seriously. We have regular Joes making critical decisions, yet the country has economics doctorates (professors) in dosens of our country spread universities. Imagine how much could be achieved if they were to work as researchers in regulations (as regulators) that directly or indirectly affect the economy?
The permanent secretary in the Ministry of ICT is a very qualified woman by the name of Beulah Chirume, if the minister takes her counsel, we might see some wonderful things.

The best way for ICT development is to let the private market takeover. If there is such a demand, they will come and fill it! Telecom and Telecel should also go private so that the network can expand. Look at India and how they covered the whole country in 5G in a single year! In India it costs $3 for a whole month of data. In terms of modernising schools, this should be up to the education minister. I’m regards to the postal service, it should also be privatised. A private company has more incentive to expand, grow, and modernise to become more efficient and profitable which will in turn benefit the customers. Lastly, I don’t know why we’re expecting ZANU Pf to be capable of any real change. We need to remove them, this is the goal!
