Ohh man, was loving this until I saw the paint job and the sheet metal repair. Surely you got such a great deal on the car you could have spent a bit extra on a quality paint job and replacement piece. Overall, was a good video to watch! Enjoy the best car Mercedes makes 👌
Totally agree even with the silver stripe on the hood you can still see the dent underneath. The repainted areas are dull and not a match on the original paintwork. The car deserves better and these issues will be picked up when it comes to moving this car on and reduce its value accordingly.
Not even half way through this video yet, and this is your best video in my opinion, the calm background music, reminds me of top gear review ride alongs with Clarkson, just, majestic, solitude, watching you fix this car with fast footage showing every click, snap, bend, fitment. Amazing job, build your dreams!
And if you guys could smash the like button and turn on notifications, that would be golly swell.....Turns out only 9% of you are notified of my videos :( I love you guys too much to let it slide this time :'(
This is a fixing car experience I’ve never seen before this is straight fire inspirational what am I doing with my life started off looking at E bike shit then I realized I should just buy salvage cars you are the man and you’ll be a great father one day
Buddy just watched you're video and I couldn't agree more with you. I have a 2014 S550 4matic. LEARNED ALOT FROM YOUR VIDEO. Very cool, man. much respect.
I have to give it to you💪🏾.. I'm speechless, you brought it all the way back. That's not an easy task. Your kid is riding around in complete luxury in the back..👍🏾
couple of questions. Was it total junk titled? As an independent repair how do you get it re titled as repaired? I noticed you had to go over the seat belts. Is there something done to reset the safety systems? I’ve heard that once in an impact all seatbelts and sensors need to be replaced.
If you're going to keep buying older vehicles to rebuild get yourself a nice dual stage air compressor and the air tools and paint guns you need if you don't have them already. Will save you a ton of time and you'll have a much better job in the end. They even sell portable blow up spray booths you can drive a normal sized car in and spray once it's prepped. It did turn out nicely with what you had though and you'll keep learning and upgrading as you go just like the bikes.
I find it amazing that insurance totaled a vehicle and Inja buys it at auction, had delivered to his house got it into his garage and without so much as a lift managed to get that "totaled" $110K vehicle back on the road in a matter of weeks with minimal assistance from Swaggy P and Lord Kurt? Great Job!!! Keep up the great content!
Congrats, sweet ride...only 'but' that I have is that the paint work on the front side panel and bumper doesn't look a sharp as the rest of the car. Since you already got a great price on it I personally would let a pro spray those parts.
It looks great! And forget $1000 like 2000 -$3000. And the first time you have it parallel parked some nit wit could back right into you and screw up the paint work. I’m in NYC and for a driver it’s way more then good enough. Awesome car I’m im thinking of getting a 15-17 Benz myself. Like you said you can be in a 6 figure car for a fraction it’s original sticker price!!
@@TheInja i think doing your own paint gives it your own touch your just an average dude trying to make it.it gives the car the im not trying to be someone im not vibe.
awesome. badass job man, really well done. I liked the condensed replay, perfect format for a quick glimpse into this kind of repair. Can't go wrong with red calipers on black
100th like and my comment is Your hard work has given you a Beautiful end result it's a shame fuel is so expensive but you could go electric ha! ha!Great Video Inja!
Congratulations on finally having a beautiful car that you can put the baby seat in! Great video, I enjoyed the time lapse alot without interruptions of voice overs it was quite calming to watch.
Hi Mate.I will be going thru same repair you just did, smashed on front left side on a 2014 S500, smasing the lamp. I thinkbuts less severe than this but bonnet is worse. Woudl you mind posting part number for parts you ordered ? Not really sure where I can get the part number for ordering as I don't have manual. Thanks for your help
the car is sick! but as a bike guy, i noticed a large fabricated battery case, and a hub motor, and cant wait to see what the next bike in the works is!
Your skills pay out! It was a great rebuild, being practical and industrious pays a lot! Keep it up! Am waiting for the next project! Looking forward to see videos from you! Just like before liked and shared before I watch it! God bless you and your family!
@TheInja people would like to know how much you got it from copart for and how much you spent in parts. Amount of hours in labor. These things is why guys get on UA-cam and weigh their next decisions. Good info makes us subscribe. Poor info makes us subscribe somewhere else more detailed. Just saying. Great job either way though bro!

Great job on the car other than a couple of details try next time to pull the bends in the hood with some tools so that u wont have to use so much filler and hope you improve in the next videos keep on going you are doing a great job
Nice job ! Such an awesome car.We have the chrysler x-fire which has the Mercedes drivetrain and my wife drives it daily.Seems to be a tough cookie lol!
Good job! I have a few questions: What's the deal with the rear right and center interior? You fixed the frame with some sheet metal, that looked questionable (says me, the couch surfer)? What's the total price?

Unfortunately the chrome delete, strip, and red calipers do not work on an S-Class, these cars are meant to be stately and dignified. Aside from that I think this was a great and economic repair video. I’m glad to see you did all of the work yourself! Really gives hope to those of us who may find ourselves in a similar position.
I sure do like it blacked out with red calipers (will be adding black logos on the calipers later) better than chrome! But I get your point. Thanks dude!
Wow, you've got money making skills. I can only imagine the cost of doing this if done by other professionals. What's the total cost of this repair project?
i dont know if your aware of this but the rally stripe should always be on the driver side.. history of this is cause when the rally races the officials will know what side your driving so in case of a wreck they know where your location is to get you out fast... but i do love your video and thanks for the entertainment
It's most likely to help mask the imperfections on the hood, looks like it was damaged in shipping or maybe bought like that. Even though he did a great job with repair there are still some issues with the hood.
@@TheInjahell yea man just catching up with all your videos. You got a new sub! Do you normally go for salvage title or clean title on your filter to find cars with normal, low and minor damage? Thanks in advance!
Okay you're living your dream, I get it... and you bought a 100K car for 1/3 of the price, and fixed it up! for a song! But, do you really think a 100K flagship from MB deserves a silver strip on the car, NO, does it need that funky purple ambient lighting you installed, NO, did it require a rear facinf car seat Heck yeah cause that is your most prized possession now DAD! The black wheels are another sore spot with a purest...the stock wheels were fine, and the engineers at MB always know what they are doing, ask them they will tell you! Even Foost knows that ! And as for your bodywork, you did fine, but order MB paint... that is all from the purest who used to sell them, and drives a Audi SLine Q7 Supercharged now! the SUV sleeper!

I feel like he did a great job and maybe he wanted to do everything himself. I love how it turned out and it didn’t need a professional paint job.
