I appreciate the bi-lingual parts of each video. It shows you care about all your audience knowing what's going on. I barely know a passing level of Spanish but it's fun to test my memory.
Greetings Aaron!! Ojo, la pregunta fue si habías trabajando en las Alden Indy en el pasado, no si sabías. Y la verdad que si tuve suerte con este vídeo. Te quedaron bien. Gracias y Saludos.
Oye hermano, another fantastic job on the Indy boots. You made them worth what they ask for them retail. One question though, why didn’t you copy the heal to be similar to the original look? That is one part I would have asked you to replicate in keeping with the original style. Just curious. Jesús.
Simply because Dr.sole heels and any other heel that has steel washers can’t be shaped like that. If you want them to be “Original “ you have to get (Thomas heels) non matching heels. Any other heels (top lift) Will be just a regular rubber heels those can be shaped to mimic the original but they won’t be heels with washers and won’t match the soles. So even if you wanted to it’s just impossible. (That’s the reason) Thanks.
Bro. you did another incredible job. I love Alden Indy boots but iron rangers, Tuesdays, 1000 mile quality is equal if not way better. You actually increase the value after resoling then.
@ A L I own Red Wing heritage and other heritage boots. Out of all the boots I have in my collection the Alden Indy 405 calfskin is the most comfortable, it’s not even close vs the others.
Amazing work that you did. You actually turned these boots from a 200$ boot to its actual price due to the materials that you used at 600$. Rose Anvil cut these boots in half which are filled with a bunch of low quality materials in them. RedWing boots are 100% better than these Alden Indy when comparing the material, quality and price. If I’m spending 600$, I’d rather buy a pair of Nick’s.
You’re right however I’m at a cross roads. Out of all my boots with no doubt the Indy’s on the Trubalance last are my most comfortable boots. It’s not even a contest.
alen really should only cost 350 imo maybe 400 bcus of the indiana jones thing but 600 and more like 800 in eu its pretty uch a scamm for what u get imo
it's not cardboard, though it is not much better than cardboard.. it is leatherboard, and for $600 there should be none of it in the shoe.. looks fantastic
Que tal Hugo la verdad no eh usado unas , pero son botas de baja gama, no necesariamente malas pero si botas básicas, lo importante es para que las vaya a usar , Saludos
Sorry, but the “Thomas hill” is a must for people with flat feet. You should have put a new one. Also, the black on the welts makes them look fake. Other than those two things, great work.
#Reviveshoerepair you should consider it!! You have talent and passion for your trade. If you make your own boots and sell them with the help of your investor(s), you can capitalize on the monetary gain 💯
Thanks for working on my boots Aaron!! I got them off eBay for much less than the $600 retail:-) I’m so excited to get them back.
Thank you!!
I’m so glad you got a great deal on them & they’re much better now that Aaron has fixed them.
Yeah the paperboard is ridiculous in a boot that price. Great job as always.
Just saw this. Great job! Would love to get my Aldens done like this!

@ A L I own Red Wing heritage and other heritage boots.

Why did you clean and polish the upper before sewing on the new welt?
Muy nice!
Hi. Can you answer a question what color Dye do you use to color the welt and leather heals? Thanks.
Fantastico!

Agree. These are my boots I purchased off eBay for $200. They are perfect now!
Where are you located? I have some boots I need to reheel
Perfect work as always. By the way I dont find any particural reason for paying 600 usd for these boots.
You’re right however I’m at a cross roads. Out of all my boots with no doubt the Indy’s on the Trubalance last are my most comfortable boots. It’s not even a contest.

They should be 250$ lol RedWing Blacksmiths have better material than these Alden Indy’s and the Blacksmith are $350
What are the most expensive boots you’ve resoled?
Mr. Freedom’s
$1k
Much better
Hi, where do you get your Fiebings dye from? Somewhere in DTLA? Thanks!
Saderma Leather & Shoe findings in LA most likely.
Good job but i dont like the boots with nails at the bottom 😅😅😅😅
it's not cardboard, though it is not much better than cardboard.. it is leatherboard, and for $600 there should be none of it in the shoe..
looks fantastic

Mate, you should make your own boots and i will invest money for you. You pay me back when you sell them. You will do wonders…
#Reviveshoerepair you should consider it!! You have talent and passion for your trade. If you make your own boots and sell them with the help of your investor(s), you can capitalize on the monetary gain 💯
Thanks Sir! That’s one of my goals just taking one step at the time!!
Some day Douglas!!✋🏻👊
You don't get paid enough and Alden gets paid way too much.
😅
These boots are very overpriced.
NICE JOB
