- After an year of struggling with the current situation the world is in. Was finally able to make a video. I am thinking of doing some major changes for the channel but time and me being occupied almost 24/7 will make it tough.
I am just glad to be able to make a video, for the sake of making it and sharing something cool and creepy in a game.

The cannibal's house freaked me out when I first found it too. Nearby, you'll find a poacher making a pot of stew, with human body parts in the pot. Creepy AF.
The boots on the tree stump is a reference to a Czech fairy tale, kind of a very dark take on the Pinocchio story, about a man who makes a boy for him and his wife out of a tree stump, but then it voraciously starts eating everything it can find, including people.
This channel is like a cryptid in itself
It sleeps, waking when the time is nigh, lurking in the foremost reaches of memory until it strikes with a new vid

The myth, the legend!! he has returned
Good to see an upload from you doing old school myth hunting videos of video games.
Also sorry for my very long over-analysation, I like doing this but sometimes they can be long as hell, also I will be referring to places with the name they appear in game or to what TheseMyths refer if they don't have a name.
In the 1st cabin/accident one thing I think is also weird to exist is a preserver, must likely it was use to delay the rotting of the bodies, and the deer skull could a symbol of satanism or is the mark of the killer, as also the dagger and the ear.
On the 1st interesting site, well I have 2 theories:
One is that the bodies in the 1st accident are from the family that was living in the 1st interesting site, and maybe one of them was a knight;
The other is that the interesting site is or the serial killer house or one of their house or hideout, and the reason why there is a knight spur is because of the victims was a knight.
Now in case of the cutting tool, it looks like the structure is suppose to an hunting lodge.
The poacher on the 1st camp is probably a random encounter/spawn, I think it has nothing to do with the serial killer, but the grave and its content is something else, maybe 3 victims that were brought and buried in there after been dead for a long while and hide in there to avoid been found out while preparing food with the last body, or the serial killer killed the 3 occupants of that camp and dug a grave to dispose of their bodies, but left the ear and the deer skull behind as their signature.
The 1st grave I don't think there is nothing to connect to the serial killer, yes there is a dagger, but there is a lack of deer skull and ear, looks to be just an execution site.
On the 2nc interesting site the house looks to have been abandon a long time ago because of its decaying status, but that skeleton and tree, I think its more a sick joke by someone that hated the person who lived in that house, if that skeleton is from the owner, but a reference to that story looks to be more likely.
The 3rd interesting site I have got nothing but just a poacher camp with a deer skull but no ear or even a dagger.
In the 1st cave well you said everything but theory of the player been the serial killer may be true, I even though of that from time to time.
The 4th interesting site have 2 of the symbols of the killer but no deer skull.
2nc accident, I think he was tortured and then forced to drink the poison or was attack, survived but mistook the poison for healing or tried to make a healing potion been severely injured as he was, and ended up doing a poison one, but most likely it has no connection to the serial killer, there aren't even any of their symbols.
The 2nc grave looks to be connect but there weren't any sign of the 3 symbols and that merchant is in a very weird place, the 5th interesting site is weird is hard to know if was a house that collapse and those skeletons are from the occupants, or some kind of mass grave.
Having all that area be a reference to that story is a very promising theory.

You are probably right about the preserver in the cabin, could it be connected to cannibalism? Why else would someone need a meat preserver for a situation like that? Or maybe to preserve the bodies for a longer time for trophies? Possible, but unlikely. Not sure about the deer skull, I noticed that a lot of poacher camps have one, maybe a poacher sign?
The second interesting site, I have no idea. The cutting tool, the knight spurs, the garden? A lot of speculations can be made.
Yeah, I also think the poacher in the first camp is just a random spawn, the grave is interesting but is also hard to figure out if it has a connection to the previous locations. However the skulls in the cooking pot for sure hint of cannibalism which maybe be connected to the meat preserver from the first location? Also, we have to keep in mind that the camp is pretty near the first and second locations (just a couple of feet away from them).
You might be right about the execution sight, it might have nothing to do with the other locations, it might be its own little story to hint at.
The abandoned house with the tree and boots, I think for sure is the reference to that Czech story, many people claim that. Also it is known that the lead developer knows a lot about Czech folklore.
Yeah, about the poisoned guy, you are right. Something more might have happened to him since he is also covered with blood.
No idea about the merchant, but the grave with the two cuddled-up skeletons really bugs me. Why were they places like that?
No idea about the ruins with the bodies sticking out of the ground. I couldn't see or find anything that would connect to the other sites.

@@TheseMyths to me the biggest mystery is all the doggos on the forest, why is there one or 2 at any place you visit lol? Is one yours? I think at first of that possibility but then i was like "no way because if the game is kinda realistic, the dog wouldnt keep up with the horse speed" lol.

Ever since i was jumped by like 12 villagers with axes after finding a corpse i try not to travel at night in this game. I've had six mongols jumping me in the night but the way that the attack of the villagers played out was way scarier despite being easier to deal with them (that and the fact that none of them tried to run away, not even the last one).

The forest alone with it's ambience and surroundings in the night is enough to make me almost quit the game. It's surreal how the studio managed to capture that creepiness

Honestly a game based on this time it's kinda obrigatory to have creepy stuff...damn theses times were cruel..makes you think that if we were immortals and lived ever since mankind became something we would thought that years around the first and second war were relaxing moments compared to the medieval era...
And 1980 to 2022 would be our retirement years.
Makes me shiver thinking about what kind of horrors have happened in these times.

For me is not even creepy...i mean that time itself was creepy..laws there almost mean nothing (in some way they still do nowadays,but not in the same level) people would die almost every week, murderers could easily get away..and much more

Not bad, take time to get used to but the atmosphere and realism are very satisfying, the combat gameplay can be really annoying at the start.
