The anime girls from that UN art are not v-tubers, but Tactical Dolls from game Girls Frontline. They are androids, or simply personafied verions of various firearms, which they are named after. For example, the AR Team members from the game are named M4A1, M16, M4 SOPMOD II and AR-15.
Girls and Guns, some things never change
they're not really personafied guns, as plenty of them had jobs before joining the PMC, and have regular names in their lore

The post-apocalyptic humanity decommissioning androids from their normal jobs, giving them weapons, 4 more clones of themselves if they are lucky and sending them out to fight the sentient robots(?). Said dolls then get super-PTSD from all of the trauma that occurs in the story, so the only option to both keep them functional and keep their combat experience - is to selectively seal their memories away
Project Wingman is great. It was a made as a tribute to the Ace Combat series. The soundtrack is great, it is not super expensive, and it is a lot of fun. It's worth the price tag.
Well then at least this time we don’t have to go “Dance with the Angels” up here :)

Don't forget the important part that it didn't work in testing, particularly the whole reattaching to the bomber part

Edit: Also, just so people are aware, Yellowstone is not "overdue" for an eruption, nor will it ever be, because that isn't how volcanoes work, much less Yellowstone. 85% of it's underground magma chambers are solid and stable, meaning that it likely doesn't have enough magma to do so in the first place. Furthermore, even assuming that volcanoes have periodic eruptions (They don't), Yellowstone's average is 725,000 years, and it's last "eruption" (Actually just a lava flow) was 70,000 years ago, meaning we have 655,000 years before it does anything.
So no, you don't have to worry about existential terror of a supervolcano eruption
in short it's a supervolcano in the same way a teepee is a superstructure
"Overdue" is also not how statistics work for anything. Some people say that constantly about things like asteroids too and I (ironically) think they should be reminded that the First Amendment famously does not protect people who shout 'fire' in a crowded theater
Project Wingman was a game made by a handful of Ace Combat fans who were tired of waiting for 7 to come out. It is considered to be an honorary AC game by fans of the series, and its arguably one of the most fun. Personally, it was my favorite game that I played last year. And the song "Showdown" (the one that got Max pregnant) has lived rent free in my head.
WSO means Weapons Systems Officer and is the person usually in charge of the radar and missiles. And Crimson 1 is basically projection The Character as he blames the entire war and the nukes on the MC basically singlehandedly winning for the Cascadians.
16:15 that was the Republic XF-85 Goblin, it was a prototype parasite fighter meant to be carried by bombers during the Cold War, it didn't have landing gear because it was meant to be carried IN THE BOMB BAY WITH THE BOMBS
No, it was supposed to be carried under the wings. I believe they tried several recovery methods and couldn't really come up with anything that a pilot could do with pre fly-by-wire controls.

Max0r videos have to be some of the hardest videos for reactors to make videos on, because of the sheer amount of jokes and memes he packs into every second of this video, you either miss a lot of the jokes, or you have to pause constantly to regroup and figure out wtf is happening
just gonna let you know immediately: i suggest watching rimmy downunder's video on this game as well. similar energy, just a lot more australian. and also actually explains the story to a certain degree (which i should note: is so bonkers you'd think max0r himself wrote it)

That thing reminds me a lot of some of the Late-WW2 German inventions, specifically the Me 163 (the Power Egg) which also basically was a rocket motor with a guy and some control surfaces strapped onto it.
@@Airier In all fairness, fighter jets at the time had too sucky of a range to protect American bombers so this thing was _somewhat_ reasonable
It's from 1948, of course it was taking them on with just guns. Nobody would be coming at a bomber with anything else for almost another decade.

Alright, so if you want to listen to Project Wingman's OST, go to Jose Pavli's channel. He's the composer and has uploaded the score to it. While the entire score is amazing, my personal favorites are "Showdown", "Bankrupt Sea", "Consequence of Power", "Presidia", and of course, "Kings", the track that plays in the final boss fight.
3:06 Mobius 1 was the Player Character for Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies, aka the first of the PS2 "Holy Trinity" of Ace Combat games, and the first real modern one.
He's since appeared in AC5: The Unsung War (As the Player Character in a side campaign called Operation Katana (or something like that) where he's specifically sent because he's the equivalent of a Carrier Strike Group), AC0: The Belkan War (as the super boss for the bonus mission "Gauntlet," albiet only in Ace Difficulty and fulfilling a specific set of requirements), as well as side appearances in other games and the VR campaign for 7.
In short-he's a *big* deal. He's also known as "The Ribbon" or "The Grim Reaper."

This game is a post POST apocalypse. I find those concepts interesting as they're a setting where the end came, and we survived, rebuilt.
LA (or rather the LA built after Yellowstone detonated) is fine at the start of the game, and no one has nuked anything, literally or effectively. Max0r was just getting ahead of himself in what happened.
Edit: Joshua is..... a whole conversation about a complicated character. TLDR: Former Legion Golden boy was thrown into a ravine while on fire for failing, lived, hates the Legion now, and loves Colt M1911's.

Maxor fails to mention one of the really cool things in this game: One of the voice actors who played the Fab-Stodes in TTS is in this game

that tiny aircraft at 16:40 is the XF-85 Goblin parasite fighter. It doesn't have landing gear because it was designed to be CARRIED BY BOMBERS. Yeah, it wasn't supposed to land on it's own.
1:35, the game at that timestamp is the game Factorio. That came is fun butr it is a massive time suck (i.e. you don't realize how much time you are actually spending on it. I recommend setting a timer before playing)
I hate to be a downer, but the actual danger Yellowstone poses is hugely blown out of proportion by the media. Soup Emporium did a great video about it going into the science, I recommend it.

It's actually more like four or six, sometimes eight air-to-air or air-to-ground munitions. (Big cruise missiles like Harpoon or JASSM are a different story and most tactical fighters can only carry one or two without sacrificing all of their defensive armament)
Most planes can technically carry up to 9-12 but usually forego that and use the spare weight for extra fuel because missiles are expensive + take up a lot of space in bases and most planes can't carry their theoretical max payload far enough to be useful anyway

Honestly if you can handle mw5 you can probably handle this no problem. Its basically a fan game that came out before ace combat 7 and atleast on my pc, 7 wasn't that bad in huge battles with missiles flying everywhere.
Also the squadrons are all labeled squadron name + unit# so crimson 1 is just the leader of crimson squadron. Like in AC7 when you're in spare squadron you might have a call sign but your still spare 1-whate er.
16:40 That is an experimental aircraft that is very real, it is a concept known as a "Parasite Fighter", the Aircraft name is the "McDonnell XF-85 Goblin", it would launch from the Bomb bay of the B-36 Bomber and would then link back up into the bomb bay mid flight, it was SUPER DANGOUROUS, so the project was abandoned.
If Ace Combat is Metal Gear with planes... Project Wingman is Metal Gear Revengeance with planes.
All I have to say for the sound track is to search up “Project wingman - Kings” it’s crimson 1’s theme at the end of the game and is possibly one of the best final boss themes I have ever heard
Yellowstone actually isn’t in any danger of erupting again on a scale that would cause any real lasting damage. The reason why we’re “overdue” for a massive super-volcano type of explosion there is because there isn’t enough magma or pressure to cause that sort of reaction (that, and the margin of error for what’s “overdue” and what isn’t is measured in the thousands of years). The reason why there’s so much tectonic movement and rising/falling surface stuff is due to magma flows unrelated to the main caldera, if I remember correctly. The entire zone is a hotspot after all, which means that even as the earth’s mantle slowly travels above it, the magma shoots up from the same spot below it.
23:18 I know I’m way late, and someone may have mentioned this, but crimson 1 is most likely his “call sign” since he is the in the crimson squad and is the leader, making him crimson 1. This is pretty common in atleast old fictional squads, take x wings from Star Wars as an example
There are some calming videos on Yellowstone out there, if you want to look for them. They've helped me accept that it isn't ever going to happen to the degree that it's hyped up in media, and maybe even never at all again.

My only criticism of Maz0r here is his use of the song Zero from Ace Combat Zero during his discussion of the final battle, instead of using the actual track from the game Kings.
When it comes to soundtrack, a lot of the music used in the actual video is from ace combat Zero and 4. Wingman's soundtrack still slaps dont get me wrong

VTOL VR is actually on easier side of simulators. For real experience you should boot up DCS World.
Project Wingman is great. Best 30 bucks I've ever spend, especially considering the game was made by like 3 or 4 people.
Game is awesome. Give it a go if you haven't yet it isn't really that demanding unless you play conquest mode or merc difficulty. Also the tunnel is required in ace combat
Funny thing is... I don't think Project Wingman is a demanding game. Back when I had a i7-4750 and RTX 2060 combo it ran 60fps easy.

I only noticed this later, but a lot of the issue might have been the four years of dust accumulation in a small case without enough ventilation.
