@@stevewilson6390 I know we're in port for about 11 hrs. I just need to find out how to get from the Brooklyn terminal to Manhattan and whether Cunard takes us...probably, but not sure.
I was on the same cruise and bravely popped over to say hello to you both in the Carinthia lounge. You came across exactly as you do on the video, lovely people and great video.
Great!!! Video, very realistic we all have mishaps We all have a messy room sometimes. Have a fun safe trip and don’t worry all will be great. We couldn’t stop laughing not at you but because we can relate especially when you have others with you. Loved it 😂❤
Greetings from the USA. Ironically, your UA-cam video helped me drive in the UK last year and then drove to Southhampton and took the QM2 Transatlantic Crossing back home. You’ll love the Crossing, just be in the right state of mind to spend seven nights at sea.
I will be staying at Premier Inn West Quay next week. Last time I was in Southampton I stayed at Premier Inn Cumberland, and Premier Inn Gatwick on the way back to Australia
Thanks Marcus I thought the food on Cunard was supposed to be top notch? Food I had on Britannia in the MTR summer seems better? Brilliant story about the knife 😂
The food in the main dining room was fine although the buffet food was much better. What was very good was the room service breakfast and luckily still included at all level of cabin,
@@Mel_FlyDriveExplore yes I’m not surprised from your funny comments you made in your video 😀 You guys should try a food review of Gorse Pontcanna, as thought Cunard would have been a similar standard of posh food.
Was that with an exit in the corner of the Commodore Club. We didn't use them but saw people coming out of it on the first night and wandered where they were coming from.
@@flydriveexplore I believe so, a lot of people dont know they are there, so its a secret when they stumble across them, they are glass and overlook the sea too!
I have been on QM2, QA and QV. IMO I found the latter two to be a totally different vibe to QM2. I did QM2 on Southampton to Hamburg and it was full of a lot of snotty upper class people and felt like a floating retirement village. I found QA and QV more cruise like and comfortable for my liking!
@@flydriveexplore Queen Anne is a total departure from the other Queens … divides the crowd somewhat …pretty much a standard new cruise ship , doesn’t have the art deco theme as much as the others .
"Room" - ROOM?! 🤣 9:26 Yes, I know it's a post box NOT a telephone box.
Was just about to post... lol... looked like a stressful day so it's understandable lol.
I enjoyed your Vlog Marcus & watching your adventures aboard Queen Mary. Waiting for part 2.
Next week, my mother climbs the clock tower in Bruges!
@@flydriveexplore Wow! I must watch the courage of your mother.
I’ve been on the docked QM1 in Long Beach. I look forward to the QM2. The QM2 definitely has the Art Deco look of the QM1.
We would like to see the original sometime.
It's great to see your Mum along. You all look like you're enjoying yourselves. I thought the food looked great.
In part 2 she climbs the clock tower in Bruges!
I'm doing a double Transatlantic crossing this October - Southampton-NYC-Southampton. Can't wait. GREAT video. Thanks x
Hope you have a good time. We going one way in March, really looking forward to it.
Thinking of doing the same, but we need to do some research, on arrival in NY do you get time to do an excursion?

We first went on the QM2 in 2004 and so far 11 times. It’s hard for me to think of her as “dated” because 20 years as sped by!
She's still a very nice ship.

We thought it was OK and in a good position. It was more expensive than usual because of the boat show.
