Before the re-route we used to be able to get through with IFS Tacomas on 33" tires. Doesn't really look like that's a possibility anymore. Not complaining, just observing.
You can still make it, its just going to be a little more challenging for you now. My buddy just mad it through in an IFS Tacoma on 33s, and they ran it the harder route. I will say that he took a little body damage though. ua-cam.com/video/XrGeyhzhsb8/v-deo.html
@@NotICON I was just there on 8/4/21 in my 3rd gen Tacoma with a Jeep and a Sequoia all on 33's. We had just came down from the Coral Hollow trail and planned on running Slick rock to camp along the river. The reroute was not planned! ( this was the first video I had seen mention it ) We ran it about 1/2 mile before the Sequoia got hung up a few times ,I winched him loose. As it was getting dark we aborted and got a tent cabin at the Alpine lodge. I believe my tacoma and the Jeep could have made it through. I will be back as it looks like a fun trail.
@@rogercraig4463 yeah it’s a really fun trail, but it can be pretty challenging in a few areas.
Looks like a fun trail, can’t wait to hit it this weekend.
Its an awesome trail, I think you are gonna love it.
Looks like a really fun trail
Its a pretty awesome trail, well worth the 3 hour drive to get there.
Did this in early June. It’s a great trail. Pretty hard.
Yeah its a pretty challenging trail in a couple of areas. The top of the gauntlet has gotten pretty tore up since the last time I ran it. I saw a video of a Jeep on 42" tires getting high centered in an area that we made it through with no issues 2 years ago.
Looks like your running a front locker but not the greenish Jeep?
You are correct
Awesome edit buddy, really like that tj build. I need to get up there! Hopefully soon.
Thanks man! Yeah that TJ build is a beast. He was down for a year doing a complete overhaul on it too. He is running D44 axles from a JK with ARB lockers. He is looking at upgrading to coil-overs here in the near future.
@@NotICON that tj didn’t skip a beat in 4lo lol 😂 thanks for sharing
Yeah I made him look pretty good in the edit 😂. Thanks for watching.
Nice, you got there first again....
I think that’s code for you gotta get out more. Thanks for watching, and hopefully you enjoyed the music 🤣
Your video shots and editing was really good in this video. Great job!
Thank you, and thanks for watching.

Thank you for watching and thank you for the support.
Are skids required?
I would suggest having them and you should absolutely have rock rails.
Much different than my last run over 20 years ago…
Yeah there was a reroute done in 2018 because the trail went through private property. The reroute added a few more obstacles. It's a great trail and a beautiful area.
