It is easier to replace 'just the glass' part of your camera lens. So I recomend buying the first link. BUT if you are replacing the back panel of your phone at the same time as your camera lens. THEN you might want to buy the full camera lens with frame. That way your frame will look brand new along with the lens.
If the Glass is just cracked on your Note 8, but still takes good pictures, I do not recommend attempting this repair.

Go slow and be careful to not let glass dust fall into the camera unit. If your Galaxy Note 8 camera stops focusing then just follow the steps in this video to try and clear it out. Let me know if you have any questions!

Just replaced the glass on the camera on my Note 8 and it was a lot easier than I expected. Thank you for the tutorial! Bonafide had the glass to me via amazon within 2 days (prime) and without a heat gun (blow dryer) and fancy tweezers (I had some pretty close to it I bought from Walmart), I was able to successfully replace my camera glass and still maintain a functioning camera.

I dropped my Note8 last week and broke the glass camera lens cover.. Ordered Bonafide Hardware replacement parts from Jerry Rig Everything LLC on amazon, and repaired the glass in 10 minutes using my gf's hair dryer and a set of fine tweezers. Thanks again for the how-to video, it worked great.

I have the S9+ with the rear camera broken glass. The repair seems simple but one must be careful. To replace the camera glass is it necessary to remove the back cover? It seem it can be done without removal.. Thanks and great video..

Zack, it seems like it could be a good thing to use Blu-tack or similar to pull off prints and glass dust? What do you think? I've never repaired a phone, but with clocks and mechanical watches, gummy stuff can be great friend, removing microscopic debris.

Hi Jerry is a pleasure t of watch your tests. I have a question. I washed my galaxy s7 efge with windowlene glass cleaner front lcd and camera kens cover. Does this damage the phone? Or everything willbe ok?
Hey Jerry, I just want to throw my 2 cents in on getting rid of the glass fragments (aka FOD). I work with sensitive radio wave components at work and when I make a mess of things, I use a Bergeon Swiss Made Black Extra Fine Tip Oiler and roll it over some double sided tape and use it as a sticky probe to gather FOD. Seems like careful handling of the glass shards and knocking the back of the camera is enough to dislodge the fine FOD. But if you need to get into the fine cracks, I hope my suggestion helps.
