Hey Bernie! Been noticing your path of ski success over the years, I remember filming with you at Alta. I was the camera guy, Chris, we all used to hang at Alta Lodge, Shawn, Jessie, Compton, Kyle. Then you moved to Mammoth and have done very well for yourself, huge congrats bro.

Nice run, but one thing bothers me: Why does the scenery in most of the North American resorts seem to look like oversized hills rather than proper mountains (like most of the time in the Alps)?

I ski at Mammoth about 12 days every year. The reason that this specific line looks more like a hill is because he is not at the summit. There are six smaller dormant/extinct volcanos in addition to the summit that creates smaller, "oversized hills" on the mid-mountain where this run (Dry Creek) is. That is why this particular view makes the mountain seem smaller; it is actually a massive mountain with about 25 chairlifts and four different base lodges.
