Not only the LXXV came with the 403 Oldsmobile, but many came with it. Some also came positive traction with rear wheel disc brakes. The LXXV edition also came with a full vinyl top, but was missing the Riviera logo Opera lights which many people complained about.
Odd ball or not, after the boat tails Buick was accused of mimicking the body style of it's 2 Dr LeSabre siblings, but as far as I was concerned the Riviera was way more luxurious than the LeSabre until 1979.

It wasn't my favorite Riviera but the size was back closer to the 63-65 Riviera and a nice looking car
Great content though. I’m glad someone on UA-cam finally recognizes this vehicle. Keep up the good work.

These have always intrigued me. They seem to have a completely exclusive body shell.
If it wasn't then they hid it really well
My grandparents had a matching set. Both 77's the silver one was grandpa's had a buick 350. Grandma's was red had the 403.
Nice segment, had trouble hearing and understanding the narrator, tried turning it up, narrators voice is too soft, Music is louder
Turn the voice track up and the music track down.
Skip the music in the background

Interesting topic but hard to understand narrator's voice it's too soft & a little too fast. Adam of Rare classic cars does it perfectly
Never liked those two years of Riviera. Looked too much like the LeSabre. 63 - 85 were all beautiful. Loved them again in 89.
0:32 Looks like it's smiling
can;t hear a word your saying.
0:40 The Riviera looks like an AMC Matador.
