Great series! I watched it all. Love it. My ears hear some more needed automation on the vocals...Once effects added.. they seem to sit too much above the mix at times. I also would melodyne a few areas of the vocals to push them in pitch and edge them in time. Just me.

Yes, you are probably right. This sometimes happens to my mixes when I mix on headphones as they often do not give a balanced perspective of the song. Thanks for watching and your feedback, appreciate it a lot.

Great tutorial video Mike and yes of course I watched the whole video/serie. For me it's very learn full. I will watch this last part again on my computer so I can better see what you did on your tracks. On my iPad it's too small. A tool like the magic AB comparison is maby also handy for me someday. I saw in an other video of you, I think it was the video of Coldplay that you printed out the mix, rendering I suppose and afterwards put the file on a separate track, the master track. This track is the one you are going to master I suppose and the mix tracks are muted. I send my song buss and drum buss to the mix buss and the mix buss to the pre master buss. The pre master buss mostly to an reverb buss and then both to the master buss. I always give some reverb to the song, I like that. It gives a little bit more warmth I think. The song is great Mike and the video series also. Thanks for sharing my friend. I hope to make some new recordings today, it will be not an easy song to drum 🥁 Have a great week my friend🍻🥁👍😎
Is there anything out there that is like the magic AB plugin? It looks as if it was discontinued.
