Great job Kirk! One of my inspirations that got me started with sea foraging. Check out his book if you guys haven't!
NPR this was a lovely video. The Sea Forager has a phenomenal spirit and a clear sense of love for the nature he is foraging from! It was really fascinating and showed off some delightful people and animals. Loved the hand-drawn animation!
More of these types of videos please 🙏🏾
This is what true happiness looks like. What a wealthy man and wife.
So, he went fishing?
I could watch this for hours
Exelente video . Me encantan los frutos de mar , pero acá en Mardel plata donde vivo. Hay marea roja!😮🙃
those cute cheeky doodles
"HA HA"
I want to say that fishing spot so bad. But thanks for the book Kirk.
Good. Just harvest what you eat. Refill the clam holes. “Take” and be a steward as well.
I’m waiting to see something new from Kirk Lombard.
stew thang lookin unseasoned af
Bruh. Seriously.
She ain't even browning and de-glazin that pot. This shit is stew making 101.

@@skylerwaite Don't collectivize guilt. #notallwhitepeople
Hey I saw danish flags! :D
cool!
people are arguing about eating clams? who knew?
I'm starting to wonder if I should work less and just gather my own food then spending so much money for it.
Things I need bucket, hook , wire , pot and small burner. Naaaa I'm spoiled I'll work for now , thanks Kirk at least I'll know where the foods at.
fun
Do you need a state license to harvest mussels and calms? Do you need to register with the state to earn money leading "classes" to show people how to exploit tidepool resources? How long is that mussel bed going to last? Just asking.
Just a fishing licence with a salt water stamp. Pay attention to signs for local laws. You can also check the DFG (Dept. of Fish and Game) website for more specific rules and regulations.
Cool thing about California, you can fish off of any public pier without a fishing licence. Unless otherwise noted, of course.
Kirk has been doing it for years and follows all the state and local regs. He wrote a book about it, so you go check all his footnotes. www.seaforager.com/book
how do you find these people?
I find raw chicken to be the best crab bait ever.
Hipsters go fishing: I expected nothing less from NPR
I would let them in clean water for few hours
Why you copying bone pati
Delightful 8 |
This is ok, but deermeatfordinner is better.
Ew
this is disturbing
The animations were really childish.
Why are you supporting fishing? Everything in this video is wrong and he's having the time of his life killing every creature he can find!
Please, provide us music or interesting facts! Not primitive people who still think fishing isn't murder.
By your logic, most of the people working for NPR are also murderers.
Why would any of them take your comment seriously? You sound like a self righteous douche.
@@SpacemanXC look the planet is begging for us to stop this shit, fishing, eating animals, killing animals, the least we can do is stop advertising this. He is a righteous douche with a point, people just dont like being told right things if it affects their lifestyle.
Am I the only one who thinks this ppl are super wierd?
They're actually really fun. And may I say, good weird if you think they're weird. I know them. Camilla, who was making the stew, is an excellent musician as well.
