@@zonderweg One day, definitely. It is a long trip for me though. I'll have to be away for couple of days to do it. Would be great to have a night train to Leuven
Wow. I really love these kind of roads. Again a very fine video and this time (like in the other vids) let me mention your good music selection! It adds a lot of positive tension. Thank you for your work.
That really means a lot to me, Thomas, thanks! I'm also quite happy with how the audio turned out in this one. And likewise, nothing beats these roads for me either. 😄 Also, once the new brevet calendar is available I hope to pinpoint a Belgian brevet and see you on the road! 👏
Hey! My general workflow is by taking an interactive map tool (e.g. Mapbox) and extracting all components individually; like borders, water etc. Then I convert all elements to vector layers; which I animate in AE. It's a tedious job; but it gives the freedom to create a map to my liking, haha. Hope this helps!
We really did get lucky with the weather, that's for sure! The 200k brevet of Leuven is usually earlier in the year (around March), so it was nice to have a sundrenched day for a change. :-) It isn't an annual ride, though Dinant is a popular destination in the rotation (with good reason). The route (+direction) got switched up a fair bit compared to last edition, which kept the ride very fun from start to finish. Honestly, I could never get tired of the nature and viewpoints around that area 😄. Can highly recommend to give this route a go if it sparked your interest; it will not disappoint! And thanks as ever for watching! :-)
This is such a nice route!
I am jealous. You have it scenic in Belgium.
You won't miss the bad roads we have around here. A gravel bike is not a luxury.
@@irfuel Hilly roads are harder to maintain then our flat mirror glass in the Netherlands.
Thanks a bunch, Konstantin! I do consider myself lucky enough around here :D
Also more than welcome to join a ride around here! 👏

@@constpetrov It has nothing to do with that, trust me. I'm local. It's just years and years of neglect. Belgium is known for this.
Great ride. Looking forward to the next one
Thank you so much, I'm very glad you enjoyed it! Hope you stick around!

@@zonderweg that is a good start, thanks for sharing
Looks like you had some fabulous weather for it. Does this one run every year at the end of August?
