I made some of these for my new kitten and she looks adorable! I had some left over fabric and made some for our pet sitter and my pastor for her dog. They were so easy to make! I did some tie-dye while on vacation and will make her some tie-dye ones and had to come back to refresh myself. Thanks!!

Hi Ashley! Great tutorial! My dogs' have their dog tags attached to their collars. Might you have an idea how to make a bandana using your tutorial so their tags are seen from the "outside front" of their bandana? Oh yeah, I'd like to make it reversible.

I love this idea to use as little gifts for dog owning friends and to leave at a local Assisted Living facility. I thought I would make sm., med. and lg. I am new at sewing and this looks like something I can do. Which 3 measurements would handle all three sizes?? TIA for any help and/advice!!!
Great idea, but I have a few questions. Since not all edges of the triangle aren’t sewed down, does the collar get caught up in them? Does the unseen edges also fray over time?

Hello i really loved the tutorial. Im starting to learn sewing. My question is, Is it necessary to use the medium weight if im using cotton fabric? Or could I just make without it? Thank you for this beautiful tutorial
its not necessary to use interfacing, if your want the scarf to lay on your pup in a way that you will be able to see it, it wont roll up or bunch up i recommend using interfacing. i notice that when people put scarves on their pups with no interfacing after a while your cant tell they are wearing a scarf as it rolls up and gets dirty so this is just what i would do to avoid that. also if you dont have interfacing you could use a thick fabric on the back of your cotton fabric to add strength to the cotton. so if you cant get your hands on the interfacing that is an option as well.
Do you think it’s ok to cut the material on the warp and the weft when cutting the triangle for the reversible bandana? Great video by the way. Thanks!
Will the stitching hold up in a washing machine? I’m learning how to use a sewing machine, and this will be my first project. If it all turns out well, I might even make it a side hobby and start selling a few things! But I would want to add a care-label of how they can wash it

(Shame I can’t post a pic of them, I was quite proud of myself and the end result, considering I’m just learning how to use a sewing machine! 😂)
