The tarte foundation is a mineral foundation so you have to like buff it into the skin so the minerals can disperse and thats how u get the fuller coverage from it. Hope that helped

For the powder foundation you shouldn't flip it upside down, you just dip the brush in and product filters out. Buffing it in also gives better coverage! :)

The Becca Beach Tint is meant for cheeks. That's probably why it isn't as pigmented as you'd like because you wouldn't want super pigmented cream blush.

the TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY POWDER FOUNDATION IS MY FAVORITE!!! I take the product on the brush and dab it on one side of my cheek and then buff it in..then take another dip for a second layer on the same section and it builds nicely. then move on to the other cheek, chin, and forehead in all mini sections. and it works great for me! i have oily skin and it keeps me shine free longer then most products. and the becca beach tint is for cheeks! lol ur so cute! xoxoxox

With this foundation you just press the brush onto the little mesh thing where the makeup comes out, you don't have to tilt it or anything, just to let you know (:

I use Dandelion for a more all over highlight/finishing powder for a subtle sheen. Though, I sometimes foil this on my cheeks and its AMAZING!
Heavy foundation doesn't have to be "caked" on. If you do thin layers and buff well, and DON't USE IT ON YOur entire face, it won't look heavy at all.
I think you misunderstood what she was saying, she said she just CALLS it cake foundation but she said she knows it's just full coverage. I also say that I "cake on my makeup" when really I just mean I'm wearing a full face of makeup with full coverage foundation, not that it's necessarily cakey. And she does the full face high coverage off her videos.
For the loose powder foundation, with loose powders, I like to shake some out on the back of my hand. It makes it a lot easier to use product!
With this particular foundation there is this mech type off thing in the middle and you need to push the brush in the mech and then you have to swirl it around in little circular motions to get the best results :)

The Becca Beach tint is supposed to be used as a blush. I have it, and its super pretty on your cheeks because the gold shimmer in it gives you a highlight too :)

Trish, you don't stipple powder foundation! lol, you buff it into your skin in small circular motions. Like how you would put blush on, but all over your face.

You press the brush into sifter then buff your skin with the brush in circular but small motions. I have acne scaring a ton and this covers it so well.
oddly enough I do like this set up and video type. Very relaxed the only issue is the lighting but it's just a minor thing

Theres also coral tinted lip glow from dior which looks really natural. You should add it to your collection of lip balms. It's amazingly moisturizing
I don't like it when UA-camrs use the huge lighting that UA-cam wants you guys to use because it is always too white bright & fuzzy!!!! I like your everyday videos with no special lighting. I can see the foundation & shadow but it's just not your usual look??? The mascara wands were both too big. I know a lot of gurus like lash blast & I hate it because the wands are huge. My favorite mascaras with good wands are an old time fav~~~Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black and Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Cat Eyes and Loreal Voluminous Miss Manga. I use all 3. All of the brushes are on the smaller side with deep black intense color pay off!!! I use all 3 together or at least 2 of them together. You have a huge glare coming from the window/lights!!!! You do look very pretty with this amount of make up on. You have a natural beauty & your make up looks great just not the lighting.. Keep doing more of these videos & don't listen to people saying you are doing it wrong because I always like your make up when you do it yourself!!!

You are supposed to work the foundation in in circular rubbing motions not dabbing it on.
It's called " buffing" it into the skin ...
There's no one right way to do it. There's lots of ways to apply foundation :)
Actually if you have large pores and hyper pigmentation you can do same as what trisha's did on this video. I learn that from my makeup class because it would help to fill and cover up your imperfections. But for regular application you can apply it with circular motion with your brush. So yea, there are many ways to apply foundation on your skin tho :) it depends...

If you have the becca beach tint soufflé, it goes on your cheeks. I use a small stipple brush. I think they are gorgeous on-gives a nice color plus a highlight! :)

I have the tarte Amazonian clay powder foundation and all you have to do is sweep you're brush in there, the mesh inside the middle is where you have to lightly tap the brush so the product comes out
With any powder mineral foundation you have to use circular motions with the kabuki brush. It nerds to be worked into the skin... Happy retry :)
