2 hardest dances on the show and Oti and Kelvin chose to do them! Outstanding! Oti by far is the best dancer and her choreography is way above all of the other dancers. Could watch this couple dancing non stop!
Still can’t believe Kelvin had/chose to do the two most easily critical dances in the final (rumba and samba!) Saying that, he absolutely danced this to perfection, beautiful lines, passionate and great alternating tempos! Score - 10
So agree stunning dance and he nailed it. he is one of the dancers I come back to watch on repeat as his lines hip action, musicality all so so beautiful to watch. He is a truly gifted dancer
This dance is sexy AF. If you're a man or a woman or an alien from outer space, you can just feel it. Oti is a master dancer and teacher, and what a talent and harder worker in a Kelvin. DESERVED CHAMPIONS
Can’t believe Craig didn’t award this a 10. It’s so disappointing because if he did this would have been the first rumba to be awarded and 40. He really is the pantomime villain.
Matthew Donovan agreed. The first time they did this rumba, it was a whole lot better. Lol. Kelvin did great though. It seems all three of the finalists danced their judges’ pick dances better when they did it the first time around. Something was off tonight.
F A I’m with Craig, it didn’t deserve a 10 as he was too stiff, no fluid movement of his hips at all. Male contestants always struggle with the rumba unless they have natural rhythm, otherwise you can tell it’s movement by numbers, place an arm here, a hand there, all disjointed with no continuity.
I didn't think he'd be able to top what he did the first time but you could see the improvement. His frame was so much better, his torso didn't stop moving when each move was complete, there was sensuality and the best musicality I've seen from Kelvin tonight. He looked like an absolute natural and it was magical to witness!
His cucarachas were beautiful, hip action sold this performance and the acting actually, even though Kelvin is a actor sometimes he doesn't act the dances but not this time. Such fluid arms and Rumba walks were exquisite. His arm extensions are gorgeous too. His whole footwork is perfect. I found this Rumba to be more of a hot hot hot one than a romantic one as the majority of Rumba's have just been romantic. Definitely an improvement on last time and one of the best male Rumba's ever. *10/10*
For me, this rumba was better the first time around when they danced it. It should have gotten a 10 then. I would also score this 2nd one with a 9 along with Craig
It was great but no improvement from the first time he performed it ie. it could’ve been more fluid. Maybe Craig genuinely preferred Karim as we all know Craig loves technique so that’s why he gave Kelvin a 9 , just to differentiate between the two dances
@@Life-is-a-Dance Hes a professional ballroom dancer! He can dance, he just doesnt as much, and its not as good as it it used to be. It isnt his fault he needed a hip replacement and cant dance as well anymore. Its a bit shallow to hold that against someone.
Rumba is such a hard dance, because it is the slowest dance of all and every little detail is so important and visible. Last time, I gave Kelvin an 8 for this dance because it was a bit stiff in places and it was lacking the "brushing" of the feet in several steps (by that I mean passing on foot really near the other one, while stepping forward for example). For me, this time, Kelvin's musicality was OUT OF THIS WORLD, he totally embraced the character of the dance and danced with Oti in a pure unison, not only rhythmically but also artistically. Kelvin's hip action was TO DIE FOR, especially in the Cucaracha step, his arm movement was really beautiful too... technically it was SO, SO strong!! He till didn't "brush" his feet, but still, it was probably THE BEST MALE RUMBA EVER!! Very high level of footwork, OUSTANDING sense of rhythm and PERFECT performance!! A 9!
@@sioelanteng474 Well... The focus in the Bollero, as far as I know, are the knees, the bending of the knees, rather then the hip action. So, I find the rumba, much more interesting and technically much harder, even though Bollero is even slower than the rumba and it is without a doubt a very romantic and beautiful dance.
Kevin's natural gentleness and sensitivity greatly contributed to the sexiness of this rumba. He isn't flowery and romantic and twee, he's handsome and beautiful and gentle and in touch with his 'feminine' side as Shirley said which all make him ultra sexy.
I love SCD! I wished more celebrities who had NEVER DANCED in a past were involved in this competition. Unfortunately Kelvin not one of them! I am a professional dancer, therefore I can say...he is a good dancer, he danced in childhood and learnt this for years. I can't see a point to put people like him together with people who never had danced before. I like to see how the non - dancers are learning how to dance, step by step improving their dance moves in every performance week by week. But Kelvin definitely not a beginner.
I think Kelvin and Oti should have gotten all 10s when they danced this the first time around. I agree with Craig since I would score this a 9 too. Maybe it’s from all the pressure of having to do 3 dances this week. None of the finalists did better for their judges’ pick dances
Kelvin and his hips have brought back an element of sexiness to SCD which has been woefully lacking of late. Personally, in fact, I'd rather Strictly was aired at a slightly later time and had a little more adult content whereas lately its seemed to be getting more and more childish and twee. Thanks Kelvin for your wonderful dancing. And Oti of course. 😚
What do we have to do to get a 10 from Craig in Rumba? How can we even pick for judges pick one of the hardest dance from week 4 and for another couples dances which got 39 points and in case of Emma dance she did 2 weeks ago?
Why did the judges pick dances that they all had done well on? The whole point is that they pick a dance the couple didn’t do so well, so now they can redo it and hopefully score better. I don’t know why they changed it this year, it doesn’t make sense to do the dance again only to get the exact same score or 1 point higher.
Otis was definitely withering here Bill Withers! Trying to be fit and healthy and ending up withering to the hospital collapsed from pizza poisoning! The featured musicians are Donald Duck Dunn Lenton on guitar, Al Jackson Jr on drums and Stephen Stills camera on guitar and the engineer Terry Manning Wogan! I think kelvin James Rowe is probably mourning for a loss 27 34 😴🤔🧘♀️😥? Probably misses the sunshine when Otis is gone. It would have been an anniversary yesterday 2004. 12 hrs with no pain relief and no counselling.
Eve Williams yes! Went to Sainsbury’s for a pizza and within 30 minutes I had severe allergic reaction similar to rohipnol poisoning! I had to call an ambulance when my lips were numb and turned blue! I have had pizza from there before???? 3 weeks previous I had peach poisoning from fresh peaches from Sainsbury’s too! and Friday I had peanut tampering at work along with milk and tea tampering! My tea was fine in the morning and I went to lunch and came back to tea and bottle water making me ill! It’s getting very weary and it’s taking its toll on my health! Hair falling out and stomach pains and oesophageal pain and high blood pressure! It’s awful!

Another year of contestants trying hard and doing great stuff, remember they aren’t trained from childhood like the Pros, but the show had its usual inconsistencies with marking from the overpaid judges, sorry but Revel-Horwood has become a bore, and how about keeping the innuendos out of it as this is a family show.
If its an innuendo then its fine on a family show, because the adults and older teens would laugh, and the joke would go right over everyone elses heads. A rumba and some jokes made around it no where near as bad as half the stuff kids are exposed to on the internet, or even other shows, i dont think its that big of a deal, personally.

More contrived than mesmerising

Best rumba ever! Amazing footwork, hip action and rhythm by Kelvin Fletcher
Oh my days I nearly smashed my iPad in frustration - Craig, you said it was amazing so why not give the guys a 10???????
What a generous couple in their dance, to each other , just one unit, one move 👏❤❤👈💪
That felt FAR more romantic & sensual than last time 👍🏼😌 well done both
One of my favourite dances! Sensitively done by Kelvin.
You can see this guy has natural rhythm
Best ever Rumba ever
Can't stop watching these two. All 3 dances were spectacular
Spectacular! Clearly deserving of the 40 they didn't get! ❤
I didn't even notice Kelvin. Oti stole the show.
This dance is HELLAAAA sexy you can feel the music running through Oti and Kevin!! Their chemistry is incredible. One of the best rumbas I’ve seen😍😍
OMG THAT WAS SO SENSUAL !! I love their choreography with each other they are the cutest xx

favourite dance of theirs!

Absolutely fantastic. Definitely. A 40. Craig just HAS to be different
