That is not normally how ozone is added to water, please note it is extremely dangerous in high concentration - I would not be doing that if it were me - Ozone is normally drawn into the water by venturi - thanks Andi
I like salt water pools but we’ve had problems lately of the generator being corrosive to stainless steel fittings !!! People are having to fit sacrificial anodes
Hi Mark, I tend to supply the Pentair IC20 systems for customers that would like salt. Not the cheapest, but are good systems. They are pretty good but as you can see from pool builder Lee's comment below, they are very corrosive.
Thanks for the comment as always Lee, much appreciated. Where would you fit the sacrifical anode into the system? Pump room or externally to protect the fittings?
@@Buildahottub ideally pump room so it’s at source .. apparently if the stainless steel is polished there is no problem?.. but and and hidden steel like cantilevers for pool cover pits get attacked big time .. this is with Dagen system that pollet pools are trying to take over the pool industry with ! Fitted loads and had lots of issues .. hence no monger using them
When installed correctly the Ozone is excellent
I fit more UV systems these days to commercial and private pools/spas
Oxone generator - long tube out .
Put over top to bottom of hot tub . Let the ozone bubble into the water . What do you think ??????
