Wallke Ebike Ride to Historical Ellicott City - #27

Lori and I ride to Ellicott City, MD, a quaint little town full of all kinds of history from the past 300 years. Our first stop was the Thomas Isaac cabin built in 1780. Our next stop was the Ellicott City Colored School, in operation from 1880 to 1953.

The school and cabin was being at the right place at the right time. I'm happy that bit of information is now in my brain. 😄

Google, and i believe Apple, can use Wi-Fi signals to help fix your position. The routers locations are roughly known, so by determining which signals are detected they can get a rough location. It's similar to how they used to get location based on what cell towers can connect to your phone.
