You can see that someone is a good musician/ singer, when you understand what this person wants to say, without understanding a word! And I have to say Wende is more than good! So much emotions in her awsome voice! What shoul I say? I just love it!!!!!
Many thanks. Lot of singers forget the orchestral part in the Brel songs - although Brel and his musicians worked a lot on it. This one is original, fine, and notmake by computers. Sorry, I do not know this singer, but her voice is great and it's a pleasure to see that she understand what she sings.
Addicted to this one... The last minute, what a blast... the wende interpretation, the black humor (ce fut l'heure ou l'on regrette d'avoir manque l'ecole, omg, how funny and sad) There are so many ways in which to say au suivant. Each one is a different emotional blend.
It, of course, will ever be Brells song. And that will always be fantastic. But, after hearing some performances, I favoure this one. Snijders voice, mimics; the orchestra, ... Better than Brell? Just superb! Amazing in how many ways she can say/sing/cry out 'au suivant'.
ze is veel beter als degene die dit zingt.. jacques brel.. Wende zingt met veel meer overtuiger... Het grijpt je veel meer aan.. zij is een van de weinige artiesten die je niet los laat voordat ze met je klaar is.. Het is echt een aanrader om naar een van haar LIVE concerten te gaan WENDE SNIJDERS respect :)

c'est une réinterpréattion, évidemment que c'est pas du Brel, seul lui pouvait chanter comme ça , mais elle a un talent indéniable et s'approprie la chanson c'est pas du Pagny quoi ! bon ça ne nous fera jamais oublier la version originale qui était un cri déchirant et impudique
