Very interesting story, I have heard a few stories about killing people silently in Russia and other Countries. It’s amazing how this happens and not one person is arrested or executed! It’s sickening to know these killer’s get paid for this and families don’t get justice. Thanks for sharing this with all of us👍
These kinds of things are happening right here in the US, and by the current administration. And this certainly has been going on for quite some time. Past and present administrations are guilty of killing their own people to further their agendas.
How the ell would you prove it. A radium pellet hidden in a mobile phone or some other piece of equipment someone personally uses. You’d have no way to know who put it there. Could be the CIA, MI5 or whatever the KGB is called these days.
I remember this. It was on the news and in papers. There is a deeper hole than what has been told by the media.. it is so messed up. You do great work and continue to.. thank you for telling this story so others understand how crazy this world's underbelly really is.
In the 1920's there was a company producing watches using radioactive radium paint. Some of the women working there had high radiation exposure and died. Their bodies are also still emitting radiation.
If only you knew how bad things truly are.... Its up to good hearted people to change that part of our world... if evil is put to sleep we will make sure it will never wake up
Putin would not have attacked, if ukraine president stopped being a bi*tch of US. Joining Nato & deploying missiles, What would US do, if Russia did the same in mexico
It really isnt. The half-life time of Polonium is only 138 days and it mainly emits alpha radiation, which has a range of about 10cm through air or can be shielded with as little as two sheets of paper.
Exactly - it’s odd actually it was complicated, expensive, slow to act and likely difficult. I guess a simple poison would have been less notable in history and just not their style.
For anyone who's interested to read more about murder of Litvinenko and the story of many other Putin's silenced critics I would recommend A Very Expensive Poison (2016) and Shadow State (2020) by Luke Harding, ex-correspondent for The Guardian in Moscow before he was harassed and deported away from Russian. Both of his books are essential to understand how ruthless Putin and his opportunist friends in Kremlin are to gain power and to keep it.
How many boosters are you on? The western governments are the biggest criminals of all. Mass genocide and blatant cruelty over the past few years and your still bleating on about Russia???
If those two assassins left that much radioactive materials around every where they went how did they not wind up unintentionally poisoning themselves? I remember when all this went down in the mid naughts. Great video 😊
They really only left trace amounts of polonium everywhere they went. So that little bit wouldn't have been very dangerous to them because a person has to inhale or ingest a substantial amount for it to be dangerous.
They clearly washed their hands in the bathroom if they found it on the faucet and dryer. So how were they still passing it around? Also, if they could not wash it off then they would eventually contaminate themselves. It doesn’t make sense to me.
Good grief, this sounds like the plot to a James Bond movie, it's shocking to think of something like this playing out in real life. Some people have no conscience (nor a soul, IMO), whatsoever. Truly a frightening thought.
My kids are studying the periodic table, and we watched this regarding the element Polonium. This was such an interesting and in-depth video about the Litvinenko poisoning. It’s crazy how they could track the radioactivity all over London 😳. All of the people who were exposed to Polonium from a pot of tea is chilling and goes to show how ruthless and soulless Putin is.
It’s such a horrible death. Putin prefers radioactive poisonings of his exposers. And it’s true that I always have that awful image of Litvinenko laying in hospital. I’d never seen an angled headstone before. I love the meaning of it. Thanks for taking me along.
An obelisk monument was usually used for men, in reference to the story of Isis and Osiris. It represents Isis crying over the lost of Osiris's phallic. Usually the story is depicted as an image of Isis crying while Father Time unbraids the locks in her hair. In other words, with age comes infertility. At that point in life ones sun is beginning to set, which leads to old age and eventually death. There's a deeper meaning to that story btw. So a broken Obelisk represents a man who has passed away too young, or before reaching their golden years. In some cases it's a man who never had children/offspring. Within some cemeteries they will place the broken part of the obelisk on the ground. So if you ever see one don't assume it's because the monument broke. Chances are it was purposely made that way. Just take a look at the age of the man who is buried there if you want to verify if it actually broke or was designed that way.
Found your channel through Lamont at Large ❤ Going through all of Lamont at Large videos first ❤ Then I will come back to watch every video of yours ❤ You guys are awesome ❤ Thank you for the videos ❤ I know that it takes time and effort to do all of these videos ❤ God Bless and stay safe ❤ Love from Roswell, NM ❤
Ironically on Audley Street (where you were walking by the Biltmore) there is a lamppost that was used by Soviet spies in the Cold War as a “dead letter drop”. The former MI5 HQ is also on that street…
Sir, you said at 9:28 the body may be radioactive but it was safe walking above or around the grave there. Have you checked it, not just taken someone's word for it?
It likely isn't radioactive anymore as Polonium-210 has a half life of ~140 days. And even if it was still radioactive, the radiation emitted(alpha particles) from polonium literally cannot penetrate a piece of paper. So you are completely safe standing at his grave. In reality, the lead lining wasn't even necessary as the dirt would offer complete shielding from any radiation.
In my opinion, the 2 suspects may of had a small lead container for the Po-210 which may have protected them enough to not get sick from it. Small amounts of it in a granular or powder form may of leaked out and got left behind in the 50 areas that were stated in the video.
Crazy question I know, but could Queen Elizabeth II have been posioned some what like in this way? Look at the last pictures of her hands & exposed neck, they were purple.
Don’t know the half-life of this, but generally the more dangerous, the faster it decays. This isotope is only dangerous if you are 5-6cm. Close to it. Instruments designed to warn about it won’t give alarm of danger unless it’s about 5-8cm from the source
For anyone interested, his body isn't radioactive anymore, the 210Po will have decayed mostly into stable Pb by now, it would have been way worse if it hadn't had such a short half-life! RIP Litvinenko
You really honestly don’t think our security services here in the west don’t do this. Jesus - the French security services sunk a Greenpeace ship in New Zealand in the 1980’s and drowned a person.
Alex's body will be preserved as good as any Egyptian mummy for hundreds of years. If only the ancient Egyptians know this, they could have saved a lot of work.
I remember this and seeing him in the papers and thinking omg poor guy also seen him before he got sick and my sister was like he looks like Princess Diana’s brother a big his story is really interesting and I think his remains are still radioactive also ITV x have ade a drama about it and actor David Tennent is playing him and they said that he was called Sasha for short also he was a good looking guy before he got sick and after God help him he was a tragic figure in that hos[ital bed my heart went out to him he looked in so much pain poor guy

Lamont! 🤙
Hi Lamont from the UK I am also subscribed to your channel... cheers
Someone did a UA-cam video on them. The Radium Girls.
The Salisbury poisoning is another interesting spot.
It makes you wonder about the clandestine stuff that they're NOT allowed to tell us about
We’d all have nightmares if we knew it everything. This is a cruel evil world because of evil people.
If only you knew how bad things truly are....
Its up to good hearted people to change that part of our world... if evil is put to sleep we will make sure it will never wake up
That is faker than this one, you are aware that Porton Down is just down the road from there? uk military are complicit in these shady dealings sadly
Thank you for highlighting this story. I remember when it happened. Tragic.
Had a meal in that hotel 3 years ago - fascinating !!!!!
I'd heard of this, but your skilled story telling made it real for me, thank you. May he rest in peace.
Thanks Chris, I remember this happening here in England very clearly. I'm glad that you are still here with us in the U.K. 🇬🇧
Omg, I just found you today & I've been binge watching your stories. Just the way you speak & explain certain things are so awesome!!!
Po-210 half life of 138 days; by now a cigarette contains a bigger hazard than his remains. The biggest hazard now, by far, is Putin.
And Biden, IMO.
@DEZZNUTZ 1001 It's BiDeau that makes Putin so hazardous
Wrong. Putin is liberating Ukraine from western corruption. NATO and Biden’s joke of an admin is responsible.
@@kissthesky40 he is definitely exposing more Fauci bio "research" labs over there in Ukraine.
Putin would not have attacked, if ukraine president stopped being a bi*tch of US. Joining Nato & deploying missiles, What would US do, if Russia did the same in mexico
Many thanks for sharing Chris. I remember this happening but thanks for all the extra detail which I didn’t know about. RIP Alexander 🙏. 👊👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
I remember this story from back in the day, thanks for the share.
I remember when this happened, and it was well-known by all the news agencies. I don't think that justice will ever be accomplished for him.
This one is so interesting. I remember learning a little bit about Alexander but there’s still a lot more that I learned about watching your video.
May this man Rest In Peace
I remember this very well, thanks for the additional information and for taking us to see his grave.
I believe i remember this story and thanks for sharing. What a way to go!
It's 'Litvin-yenko'. But thank you for sharing this story, it's one I've always found quite disturbing
I never thought about him still being radioactive, crazy to think. I wounded if his grave would show a higher reading on a Geiger Counter.
radioactive deaths are usually put in lead coffins, so no, it shouldn't be.
Nope....
It really isnt. The half-life time of Polonium is only 138 days and it mainly emits alpha radiation, which has a range of about 10cm through air or can be shielded with as little as two sheets of paper.
It seems like a very complicated way to kill someone and extremely sloppy and dangerous for the assassin as well.
Exactly - it’s odd actually it was complicated, expensive, slow to act and likely difficult. I guess a simple poison would have been less notable in history and just not their style.

Great video Chris....you done the story justice 👍🇬🇧
Very interesting Chris. We love the documentaries and history.
you make a great reporter/tour guide

nice reporting and research, thanks mate
Be careful MOBILE ....lovin your vids in and around the UK x
Great reporting! Love your thoroughness, way of presenting cases & cadence of your voice. Outstanding!
First man I love seeing the history in your videos!
What a crazy story I remember that happening. It is a modern day Bond 007. Thanks so much for the work
Good grief, this sounds like the plot to a James Bond movie, it's shocking to think of something like this playing out in real life. Some people have no conscience (nor a soul, IMO), whatsoever. Truly a frightening thought.
"Sasha" is a nickname for all Russians called Alexander
Its like Joe for Joseph

I found that detail about his memorial stone fascinating.
Great story. Buried in a lead lined coffin. This is eye-opening. Looking forward to your next story.
Wow. Just wow. This was both intriguing and terrifying!
That cemetery is hauntingly beautiful.
Supposedly a vampire protects it.
I kinda remember this happening. Great story telling.😎

Great video with the most accurate history content. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. 👏👏👍😎👊
I love history, that's right I'm watching all your videos, thanks you 👌
You should visit Stockholm Sweden!😊 theres a huge cemetary there called Skogskyrkogården, there you can find a lot of famous graves🙏🏻
Facinatin story, creeps me right out!
Thanks Chris! 👍👍👍
I vaguely remember this story. It was shocking news at the time.
Spasibo comrade.
Back in 1978 a guy was killed in London with a poison tipped umbrella. I forget his name but it was KGB hit.
Another great video in a series of great videos. Thank you. Keep up the good work. Hope you do a few more videos while you're still in the UK 👍
Great video sir
Interesting. Thanks Chris.
Wow...what a story! Never heard it before. From Montgomery al 🙏 ❤️
What a gruesome death!

U rite about that I was raised rite down the street from there the burgers was killah dillah
Lets hope Putin drops his defenses just once enough to get a cup of this. When I hear the news its party time !
Great stuff !!! ✍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 A. L. Was telling the a Truth !!! About Mr. P and about the Russia government Actions !!!
Never trust anyone it could cost you your life..

I remember this story so sad. Rip Alexander
Cool story, nice job!
😳Very scary! This silent killer, radioactivity 🤯When are you coming home Chris? 🙏🏻
Wow. I wonder HOW MANY were contaminated after the fact..? Great story, SORRY HE WENT THROUGH IT..
So sad. What a horrible way to die
Are you still in the U.K.? You should check out Norwich, it's not too far from London & has a lot of history
I'm not there anymore but I have a little backlog of videos to still put out.
@@MobileInstinct Lookin forward Chris! 👍

Check out the umbrella murder in london
That poor man! Such a horrible way to go
Great video. Creepy!
Very interesting to learn about. I never heard of this b4. Learn more from UA-cam channels than I ever did in school or from anyone else
Read books. It’s fun.
So he’s literally glowing under there?!? 😳 This was a great video, thanks for sharing all this information with us, so interesting!
No.
Great research !
I remember this 😢
How about some Beatles locations...there and Liverpool.
London would be so amazing to visit!
Do it!
Chris have you been to Brookwood Cemetary while in UK? It's just outside London in Surrey near Woking

The guys carrying the puloniom 21 must have had high exposure. I'm surprised they are still alive.
Wow RIP Alexander
They traced it back from a plane from russia, even the seats
I remember when this happened. There’s a great book and documentary about it. Look up “cancer pants”. That’s a wild story if true.
Interesting! Wow! Thanks 🥰
For anyone interested, his body isn't radioactive anymore, the 210Po will have decayed mostly into stable Pb by now, it would have been way worse if it hadn't had such a short half-life! RIP Litvinenko
There's a documentary about it called Poisoned by Polonium
I'm shocked anything is growing around his grave.
that cemetery looks so cool can you do more stories from there?
He was given an Islamic funeral because he converted to Islam on his deathbed.
Next, try to explore the park of where Sophie Lancaster was found in Bacup back in 2007
Until just now I didnt know this was in 2006. I always thought it was in the 90s.
Putin in the background of the thumbnail made me lol 😆
Wow that’s so sad
I wonder if you could have picked up anything with a geiger counter
Rest In Peace 💐🙏❤️
Think his room is still out of bounds due to radioactivity.
Oh and possibly the floor also!
OMG! I lived in London at that time! I wonder if I was exposed would it show up now?
Oh dear. The only exposure you got was when the blinds weren’t pulled down.
Being part Russian, this disgusts me that they are so wicked. I'm sorry that this guy couldn't find an escape from this tyranny.
You really honestly don’t think our security services here in the west don’t do this. Jesus - the French security services sunk a Greenpeace ship in New Zealand in the 1980’s and drowned a person.
