Not every chest pain is due to heart attack or Angina. There are multiple causes of chest pain. Even though chest pain due to heart is one of the most dangerous chest pain and at no cost we can miss it.
I have talked about five types of chest pain in this video.
1. Chest pain due to problems in esophagus. gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD is one of the most common cause of chest pain. when food reflux back into esophagus from stomach, it causes some burning pain, which can be anywhere from epigastrium to throat.
Another problem of esophagus which can lead to chest pain is esophageal spasms. when we eat very cold or hot food it lead to spasm in esophagus and patient have very severe chest pain.
2. Another potential cause of chest pain is lung and it's called pleuritic chest pain. when patients have any infection in lungs, due to any virus such as covid 19 or any bacteria such as Tuberculosis, it lead to chest pain. this kind of chest oain often occur during the cough or while patient breathing inside.
3. Chest pain due to costochondritis : This type of chest pain start to occurs when there's any inflammation in ribs cartilage. there are ribs all around the lungs and there's a breastbone in the center. cartilages connect ribs with breastbone. any physical exercise or any trauma can lead to chest pain of costochondritis. This type of chest pain also occure especially during cough, inspiration and in certain position.
4. Chest pain due to cervical. this chest pain is often mild and start at rest when neck is fixed in certain position. patient gets some relief during the neck movement.
5.Chest pain due to heart attack a Angina. This is one of the most dangerous chest pain and this chest pain feels like heaving, constricted and weight on chest. patient might have sweating and shortness of breathe. if Patient is old age, hypertensive, diabetic and have stressful life and he/she has chest pain, chances are high that this chest pain is due to heart attack or angina. Resting or lying on the bed makes this pain slightly lower if it's angina.
Seene me dard ya chhati me dard bhut saari wajha se ho sakta hai, jaise lungs me infection ki wajha se ya pasliyo me sujan ki wajha se. khane ki nali me problem ki wajha se seene me dard ho sakta lekin jo dil ka dard wo sabse jyada khatarnak hai aur mareez ko seene me ya chhati me dabaav sa ya wazan rakha hua mehsoos ho sakta hai. dil ka dard seene me kahin bhi ho sakta hai, lekin dil ka dard sabse jyada chhati me baayi side me hota hai, aur ye dard left arm aur jabrhe tak jaa sakta hai. kabhi kabhi cervical ki wajha se bhi seene me ya chhati me dard aur hota lekin cervical ka dard halka hota hai aur chalne phirne par aram mil sakta hai.

You have narrated very clearly.
If one is having a constant ,mild pain on left side and breathlessness while climbing stair or no unusual perspiration, then what to do?
One is not over weight but Diabetec and high BP patient controlled by medicines, age 82 yrs ,just an additional data.

Age, diabetic and hypertension make this person highly susceptible to angina. I'd still prefer to rule out angina because sometimes it can present in a very unusual way.

I am having chest pain (left side) for past 4 months.
-My ECG was normal.
-I got endoscopy done ( hiatal hernia was not there) & was prescribed 3 weeks Rabemac DSR twice a day.
- But after 3 weeks, chest pain is still the same.
Can it be lung related ? Will the xray show infection/injury if any? Or any other test required?

I had been completed to Marathon 10km last year where I Run a marathon for 10 km.. I didn't feel much pain in my chest it was the same as I think when I'm at home,
However, I have been feeling a high heart rate of approximately 90 to 120 bpm weakness in my hands and Legs, dizziness, and poor appetite. I feel fatigued throughout the day along with not being in a mood to do anything. I get too worried whenever I have a high heart rate and chest pain but the pain subsides after a few times.

2nd no ka hi problem hai sir aiims patna k doctor ne bataye hai ki infection k chalte pain ho rahe hai. Medicine chal rahe 3 weeks se but pain mai koi abhi tk relief nahi ho rahe .

Hello sir ,I'm 16 years old now ,before 1 year ago ,while doing abs workout I got tightness in chest like something is holding my chest very tightly,I applied heat compress ,and other cream,2/3 months it took ,than I started doing running etc ,than its became ok ,again after 5 months it's started tightness in chest I don't know what is going on ,it's started after lifting bags in one hand ,my left chest is very tight,sometimes low tight!!is there any serious issue ,or this is costochonrtis?

When i am taking deep breath its pain in my chest near to heart and same in the back .
@@Dr.Arshad I am 28 and I am also experiencing cheast discomfort from last few days , particularly near central and left part of my brest bone. There is no coughing but sometimes I use to feel shortness of breath , this may be because I am also having deviated nasal septum problem. Mostly I am experiencing chest pain during sleeping and in the morning after waking up.
