2024 Nissan Z Nismo POV Review | It’s Better Than You Think!

- 👋 Here is the newest 2024 Nissan Z Nismo edition! The Nismo Z is the top level performance focused version with extra horsepower and styling! The 3.0L twin turbo V6 now packs 420 horsepower and 384 pounds feet of torque. The Nismo Z only comes with the 9 speed automatic transmission but it's been Nismo tuned for quicker shift times a paddle shifter response! Sport + mode is also new for the Nismo Z and I honestly am impressed with how quick the transmission shifts. A significant improvement over the Z Performance with the 9 speed. I really wasn't a fan of the automatic Z, but the Nismo Z has a responsive transmission and I enjoyed it! There is plenty of power in the Nismo Z, and driving through the twisty roads was a blast! The Nismo tuned suspension feels much tighter than the Performance Z and helps liven up the handling so much! Also the Nismo tuned steering is much sharper for a more drive focused feeling. I love how they retained the Recaro bucket seats for the Nismo and I fit in them so well. The standard seats are pretty bad I think with no lateral grip and very small bases. I don find them comfortable at all. The Nismo Z is super comfortable to sit in the bucket seats and honestly felt way better in every aspect over the normal Nissan Z. It has a stiff suspension, but I really liked it! I've seen mixed reviews on the new 2024 Nismo Nissan Z, but I have to say I enjoyed driving it quite a lot and found it to be a lively exciting sports car! I love the exterior styling too with the Nismo body kit. Looks fantastic! The fake pops on the exhaust are a bit of a gimmick and I can hear them coming from the speakers on the door. So that I would deactivate. Still would enjoy a 6 speed manual transmission, but the auto was pretty fun like the Supra ZF 8 speed automatic. Biggest complaint is the fact the new 2024 Nissan Z Nismo costs nearly $70,000! This spec had an MSRP for $68k, which is $10k more than my manual Toyota Supra! This 2024 Nissan Z Nismo costs the same as our new 2024 Audi RS3 and this is the same price as a new BMW M2! So while this is a fun car and very nice to drive, you really need to be a Nissan Z fan to spend this money for it. BMW M2 offers a significant improvement for the interior refinement, much more power, a manual offering and even more performance. Same for the Audi RS3. I think the Nismo Z is on par with the Toyota Supra. Some aspect I like better in the Nismo Z, like the seats and exterior style. Some aspects of the Supra are better like interior tech, handling and refinements. So the 2024 Nismo Z is awesome, just a bit hard to justify $10,000 more than a Supra. Overall tho, put the new 2024 Nissan Z Nismo on your list if you're looking for a sub $70,000 brand new sports car! It was pretty cool to drive around town and experience the performance on the back roads!

As an owner of this car, yes and no. The complaints about the price and lack of manual are warranted. But if you review the car based on its own merits it’s absolutely a joy to drive and is a head turner more so than probably a BMW, Mustang and Corvette which you see more on the road. People that have stopped to admire my car and spoke to me always say they don’t see Z Nismo’s on the road…ever.
There's no manual on the Nismo? Price aside, that really blows. Combined with the price.. just no.
@@hhaste There isn’t unfortunately. Only on the sport and performance trims.
You car note and insurance is more then my mortgage 😂 and my house isn't old or small
@FATmenDRIVEtrucks but your mortgage is 30 years, not 5 or 6
I know low volume sales makes car enthusiasts feel like. My car is exclusive, Kool. But in reality that reflects a lack of interest. The admirers usually represent people that don't buy sports cars and aren't enthusiasts. Just admirers. The other group are youngns with riders hoping and wishing one day...
Currently I own a A.R. Giulia and exclusivity is NOT what it's cracked up to be. It makes parts and services more expensive than they have to be. The giulia has been on the road 7 yrs n people have still never seen one. I spend lots of time explaining when Alfa Romeo returned and that my car is now almost out the door. They're shocked. I wish more people bought Giulias. Maintenance prices would become consistent if they did.
Mantab pak Karim...💪👍
i do like the new Nissan z Nismo, But i do think the supra 3.0 does look more unique than the z.
I'm 50/50 on looks. Nismo looks more sporty, but the Supra looks cleaner. Both are very cool for sure
I went with the 24 Z performance. I think Nissan did the Z rigth by its Histori. I thought about the Supra, but I wanted the true Japanese car I'll buy a sport BMW X5 later in life instead of the supra.
Yeah I can see that. Supra still has much better features and handling tho. Nismo is great! But a bit expensive for what it is
For that price I’d rather get an m2 wtf
There's a lot I'd rather get.. everyone else, as well. That's why this car is a failure. They priced it _way_ too high. If it were spot on with the Supra, price wise.. then it would be a lot more justified.
rather get a IS 500
Very different cars!
The car is lovely. Nicely done. BUT... Nismos are track capable cars, not track ready. The camaro 1ss 1le is a track ready porsche competitor for 51k. A 2ssle was 58k. I know theres only a few left and its the last year but... theres no justification. Its playing in M2 territory. Another track ready car. As well as the supra. Nice isnt good enough, sorry. This car is at 68k. i can't see it. It's a fraudulent pricepoint for the pkg. If it were 54k. 58k with all accessories, etc. It would be a win. But accessories will put this car at 72k. Lol. Sorry, nissan. 1523 units at launch are trash numbers. And there's a good reason for it.
A 370z nismo with a full blown F.I. turbo kit is still way cheaper and probably faster. Not saying new and old is competitive. But the smiles per hour are more cost effective and you have more control over how you want your car to respond.
Yeah overall it's a fantastic car. But I just can't see spending M2 money for it. Especially when the Supra is under $60k and has more features and is just as fun
Do some donuts
haha I tried a little bit later on!
Only 1.3 percent of owners of vehicles drive a standard vehicle, that is why Nissan decide on a auto only
I don’t think it’s that low, where did you find that?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed one sec I'll share it with yah!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed my apologies the statistic was actually for how many cars sold as a manual in the year 2023 ( in full context how many cars are actually sold as a manual 😅) and the rate was at 1.7% and not 1.3.
Thanks for the reply though man, I will continue to support your channel! Keep it up!
@@Marvelous0071 However about 50% of Z and Supra sales are manual transmission. So the USA as a whole doesn’t represent the car. Cars like this are selling in manual just as much as auto
Needs a manual. Not special enough without it.
Yeah it'd be nice to have a manual. However this was a blast and 10 times better than the Z Performance. Very fun car
I would get g87 m2 manual all day
why get this? Stupid marketing nissan
Yeah the new M2 is a beast and hard car to argue with!
