Just saw GNR live, it was my very first concert. This is one if my all time favs and hearing it played live was incredible. Even at 61 Axls wails still sound amazing! So much energy from the whole band, slash was phenomenal. I cannot wait to see these legends again!

Song popped into my head and I started singing it in the shower today. It is my birthday. Clever. I love Izzy, but he always shunned that whole rock star image. I think that song "Shuffle it All" that he did with the JuJu Hounds (it's available on UA-cam) pretty much kind of sums up his philosophy on life, especially the line: "Sure enjoy the view, yeah If you want to see it Just slow down" I think he's much happier just playing in small clubs to small crowds around the country and playing what he wants to play.

Is this Axl's finest vocal performance? I think so. Absolutely most underrated. I heard this song when it came out in 1992 and it was cool but didn't really stick. in 2019 no one really does this anymore, not in the pop-world, and I can appreciate it as something of a vocal masterpiece. Song popped into my head and I started singing it in the shower today. It is my birthday. My brother who was a huge GNR fan that had passed on quite some time ago was with me I think letting me know he hadn't forgot about me and my birthday. Reason I say this is that I haven't thought about GNR in ages and I never really try to listen to their music. Quite frankly I was never a GNR fan. LOL! I appreciated some of their songs but yeah.

Absolutely most underrated. I heard this song when it came out in 1992 and it was cool but didn't really stick. in 2019 no one really does this anymore, not in the pop-world, and I can appreciate it as something of a vocal masterpiece. It's grown on me lately.

As much as I'd love to say I was into GnR from the beginning, I was only a kid in 1987. But when I first saw this Live and Let Die video on TV, I knew I needed to get my hands on the CD. I borrowed Use Your Illusion 1 off a friend, pressed play, and the second I heard Duff's bass intro to Right Next Door to Hell, I knew this was my band.
